| This episode is without a doubt one of the most impressive feats of animation I have ever seen! Everything from the animation direction itself, the composition, the sound design, and everything else was executed flawlessly. And also, a great thing I really like about the entire Frieren replica battle sequence is the detail that the replica only used Zoltraak against Denken and the others instead of any of the flashy spells that Frieren and her replica threw at each other, which implies that all of these spells that were used in the battle would probably be overkill against any of the other mages and would most likely penetrate their defenses and kill them instantly, really puts into perceptive what ridiculous kind of power we are dealing with here when it comes to Frieren. |
