Anyway good chapter, not much action but we got some development. I bet that if only Kasuga had picked up his phone back then, Tokiwa would have broken up with Kouji. She is definitely in love with Kasuga.

Good thing the author doesn't try to make Kouji the bad guy.

I hoped that Tokiwa would just go out with Kasuga. Now Kasuga feels nothing more than a shit-eater again... Man his life really sucks. I sense some real shit coming in the next few chapters.

This entire situation subtly reminds me of the beginning of the manga a little. We now have a new love triangle.
With different characters in the roles

Tokiwa is like kasuga she is hiding her loving of reading from all her friends and bf kind of like how kasuga was hiding his perverted nature at beginning of the chapter. She is now confused like kasuga was between saeki and nakamura

Kasuaga is like Nakamura now who is sort of the loner is encouraging Tokiwa to not only read more but write as well. Kind of like what Nakamura was doing to him. Basically do what makes you happy at time.

kouji is the new saeki the popular guy (based on how those gossip girls were talking at beginning of ch 43) who is obsessed/loves Tokiwa. Something he says in chap 43 bothered me alot when they were talking he says if they were a normal couple they would have broken up already. She still has not told him whats in her room she won't let any1 else see except kasuaga. He seems to not care anymore his apology was not sincere but just doesn't seem to care he just wants her. It reminds of saeki how just didn't seem to care about the stuff kasuaga was doing.

When Tokiwa decides to break up kouji thats when shit is going to be going down. Bet the author will bring back either saeki or nakamura to complicate things even more.
