| Bit late to share my thoughts on this series but here I am. ^_^ Episode 4 was pretty dang good. I was really worried after the first two episodes that the pacing of the show was going to be a lot of backtracking through events that happened from previous episodes. Luckily that doesn't seem to be the case and we are moving along with getting more information about the characters. Really enjoying the Italian backdrop for the setting. It's making for some awesome music backtracks, and interesting character names that I don't often see in anime. Triela being the focus for this episode was nice. Her collecting the teddy bears to create her own version of the 7 (8) dwarves was adorable. Gives me hope that all of the characters will get their due time on screen. I think as of right now Triela is the most interesting character personality wise. With that said, I'm excited to meet the other cyborgs. Henrietta and Rico are pretty depressing character profiles. Rico more so having to deal with a sibling that doesn't really care about her mental. I felt shocked when I saw her come into the scene with Henrietta and Triela battered and bloody. Rico did lie about running into a civilian when she was casing the hotel. I guess that is fair grounds for punishment but it does seem a little harsh. Yep, I wasn't really sure if I was going to get into this series with how weird of a first impression the 1st and 2nd episodes gave me. Now I'm feeling the drive to see where this story is headed. Other than the character introductions, I have no predictions for how this is going to go. Looking forward to it! |
