OK, recommend me some.

It's not hard if someone actually watches some of these, because you can find recommendations everywhere:
- Overanalyzing Avatar: it was originally an Avatar-related channel, but recently he's reviewing anime.
- There are channels where they talk about western movies, shows as well: OtterlyNoah, Miguel Munuera or Anthony Gramuglia
- pey talks anime: became big around when Frieren was airing.

And these were just channels where people try to analyze anime. While Heralen made insanely good and funny videos about anime quizzes with his friends.
There are a lot of content creators who make content about anime.

Apparently I watched "Frieren vs A Guy Who Doesn't Like Anime" a few months back, though I remember absolutely nothing about that video.

I mean, the fact that we can't find anime-focused channels and instead have to mention channels about other things that maybe made a video about anime... is part of the issue.

I'm a progressive, so I did get recommended some of his "Anti-woke criticism is NOT real criticism" videos, though I remember not liking those a lot, I think I thought they were a bit shallow. Granted, I think I also skipped many parts of the video since I wouldn't be able to say if the video was good or not if it was about a media I had no idea about (And most it is that), but the parts about things I'm more acquainted with (That being anime and Japanese stuff) made me think "Well, what you're saying is not WRONG but... it's such a superficial reading of it".
In a way, I feel that if, in order to combat anti-woke slop, you also have to produce slop of your own, that's not exactly a win...

I might check the neurodivergency video later, though, might be interesting.

Never heard of it, though most of the videos about anime seem to be about Ghibli, which is very insular when it comes to anime in general.

I have a bit of a complicated relationship with that channel.
There are some videos I like, and some... not very much.

For intance, I remember making an entire thread on how "Japan, Their Art, and the Culture War" was absolute dogshit, but I did argue that "Forced Diversity Does [Not] Exist | Ant vs. Anti-Woke Slop" was kinda good.

I think I've watched some Frieren videos from it in the past.
