Great ending and I loved how her friends know the secret. This series is a 8/10 for me.

Such a beautiful ending to one of my favorite romance anime in recent times. And that twist for who gets promoted, too!

Liked this anime very much, but the last part of this episode was like they had no more material to show and had to repeat some scenes :P
This setting and real life story was good for adult type anime ;]

I hate it when anime/manga that I enjoyed ends, especially when there could be much longer plot and when I love main heroine :P

I wish I had magic glasses that let me see real world in anime colors ;)

For a workplace office romance from a studio with an unimpressive track record by a director who has only previously directed a BL OVA and a Cooking short series, this was pretty solid. It was much cuter than I thought it was going to be. This finale was also pretty good. I almost dropped this several episodes in. Actually, I did drop it briefly, but picked it back up on a slow day. I am glad I did. It was not anything special, but it is a nice change of pace from all of the angsty teen romance anime. I probably would not watch a second season, but I'm happy with this one.

Definitely not the best romance show ever, but this show is genuinely the sweetest thing I've been watching this season! Adult romance anime unfortunately is almost nonexistent nowadays, but thankfully this show perfectly fills that niche. The portrayal of daily corporate life and struggles were fairly realistic, and our main couple went all in (figuratively and literally) since the first episode without any of the cliche romance cliffhanger or 'will they won't they' plots. Unfortunately this show didn't have the best production quality and the popularity it deserves. This ending episode is cute but it feels unsatisfying somehow for me, and the lovely side couple Somei/Hayakawa didn't get enough screentime. But overall, I have a great time watching this show!
I'm not optimistic about this show getting a S2, but if it is I'm in!

I feel disappointed—was there really no emotional scene in this episode? No kisses, no wedding, not even a hug? Ugh.

But overall, it was a happy ending. The idea of showing the past and the memory reel was nice, and the final scene was really cute.

We’re definitely going to miss Taichi and Yui a lot. Thanks to this lovely series!

slowly but surely, no need to rush it telling others but it was nice that Yui managed to open up about her relationship with her besties
a shame we didn't see more of Somei and Hayakawa after the morning incident like we did not see anymore reactions after that and the thoughts on it :')
romcom is just okay for me but I felt this one was an exceptionally great one, heck this one does not shy away from any of the OwO moments and favours audiences equally, so like not the usual suggestive female MC for a male audience despite the male MC not being as exciting
will defo miss this one but was a really great closure, even if it was weird seeing like how they resolved previous issues right at the end of this series, felt a bit of a whiplash but still fit nicely with where they are now and hope they enjoy their future together :)

It’s over, without a doubt one of the best, if not the best romance I've followed in years. Here we had a worthy couple doing real things instead of the clichés of weak couples who don’t do anything. Yui and Tateishi were great, not to mention the secondary characters Hayakawa and Somei, who even though they only started dating near the end of the anime, their chemistry was amazing. Great ending, excellent anime, and I hope animes of this caliber become a trend because the basic, overly sentimental ones are getting stale. Rating: 9

Solid ending, like the sentimental playback of previous moments. Sets up second season nicely. Decent ending if one isn't produced.

I must say, this show was one of my favorites this season. Somehow, I could relate to their feelings—maybe more than I expected. It’s difficult, despite appearances, to craft something genuinely touching out of ordinary, everyday moments, especially when the stakes aren’t about saving the world. I’ll miss Yui and Masugu; they were such a sweet couple ;)
The scene with Yui’s friends in the final episode lingered deeply. When Yui finally confides in them about Masugu, their reactions aren’t just surprise or teasing—it’s something quieter, almost melancholic. They admit, with resigned smiles, that they are the ones without love lives. That moment frames Yui and Masugu’s relationship in a new light: their connection isn’t just sweet; it’s borderline miraculous. In a world where work devours every hour, where even grocery shopping feels like a luxury, two people still managed to carve out space for each other. Their love isn’t extravagant or time-rich—it’s stolen glances in the elevator, late-night texts between deadlines, two weeks apart that make reunions ache. But that’s what makes it matter. In the grind of adulthood, they’re holding onto something fragile and vital, and that’s why their story feels so quietly triumphant.

And of course both last episode's cliffhanger and Tateishi transferring to HR ended up being bait. Well, at least we got to see some of the coworkers eventually finding out about the main couple's relationship as compensation.

Second half got me confused for like a minute, by the way. In the end, I assume they were at Tateishi's friend's wedding but I seriously thought the anime decided to straight up skip to Mitsuya and Tateishi's wedding instead... just to immediately show a flashback of them dating for the first time lol.

Anyways, rather forgettable show overall. Not really different from other rom-coms with the "adult cast" tag if I'm honest. Only difference being that this particular one features awkward scenes of implicit sex between the main leads as way to mask the story as "mature" and realistic when it's actually anything but that. MCs continue to act like blushing teenagers during most of the time and most of the adult struggles they face aren't explored that differently if we compare them with other shows featuring similar themes.

5/10 - Somei x Hayakawa storyline was cool tho. Would have liked to have a couple more episodes focused on them.

Decent ending to this series and the main couple ended up telling some of their coworkers about their relationship. I liked the brief flashback that showed how they met and started dating and while I thought this series was fine overall I would've liked to have seen more development from the main couple and not so much from the secondary couple.

9/10 just what I needed after all the rent a girlfriend I've read and watched and the other shows. a mostly wholesome sfw adult romance that actually starts with the couple getting together for once unlike the standard ending the series once the couple gets together or will they won't they's, etc. I wish more popular shows did this of showing the day to day life of a couple/ their dynamic. I'm surprised I watched all that in 1 sitting.

Good adult romance show. They acted a little childish a lot of the time, but it was cute and fits with the "affair" vibe secret relationships would give off. A few parts got pretty steamy, and then that kind of just fell off.

I really didn't get the ending. It seemed like it was a flash forward to their wedding, but then it was before her transfer so it might have been his friend's. But then why was she wearing a white dress? Even if she was a bridesmaid, isn't wearing white super frowned upon? And then in the beginning she was the one who wanted to keep it secret, but in the end he suggested it instead? Feels like a retcon.

Also, what was the point of him taking an exam? I didn't realize accountants would even have to take one. But even if they do require certification, why would there be different levels? It seems just like a bogus thing so that he can have a goal to work towards as well. They could have given him a hobby or side hustle instead.

9/10. Overall sweet and bubbly. Somei's relationship felt like an afterthought, but it was nice to see.

Well, it took me a while to write this post, as I have been contemplating quite a bit on what grade should I give this anime.

First, let's talk about this last episode. So they really threw us the curvevall, thinking they would assume their relationship, but it turned to Somei just saying he has a girlfriend (the GOAT showing why he has this title).

But right in the next day, Masugu and Yui find out that Somei and Hayakawa are dating, while they were just having a "couple walk". Masugu already knew, so to make things less awkward, he just decided to reveal to them that he and Yui are also dating (which doesn't surprise Somei, since he already knew).

After the vacation, they reveal that the one that is transferring is actually Yui, and not Masugu. Honestly, not a big fan of this. You're telling me that a few episodes ago, Yui had the opportunity to go to a department, that was still related to releasing products, and she had a mental breakdown, and decided to refuse after realizing that what she wanted was create new products, and now she's being transferred to PR, that has nothing to do with what she likes, and she's just like "ok, it's life I guess, it means my work has been recognized", like, ok, good for her she's not suffering, but it doesn't make a lot of sense. This scene just made that whole drama some episodes ago just useless. Ahhh, what a disappointment, not really sure why they added this drama to begin with. How does the series progress after this, since Yui creating new products was a relevant part to the story? Unless PR also does that kind of stuff, but I doubt.

To end the episode, Yui decides to reveal to her (future) former coworkers that she's dating Masugu, which was long overdue. I was actually surprised they made one of them already know (or suspect) that, and the other completely clueless. At least she can now be more open with her friends, so that's good. We didn't get to see Masugu revaling their relationship to his friends though.

And so, the anime ends this way, without any cliffhanger or something (well, the PR thing could be considered that). Not really sure if this anime is getting a 2nd season, but I can see that the plot can still develop a bit more.

I'm going to be honest, I usually dig this kind of anime a lot, but this one didn't really click in me, and I'm not sure why. I never really connected to the main couple, and the first couple of episodes had some weird scenes between them, where they would get all embarassed like teens when doing more couple stuff, in a otherwise mature romance setting (I mean, they blushed of holding hands, but they had already slept together at that point), and after that the anime started getting better, but I didn't find the main couple to have much chemistry, I don't know, it just didn't do it for me. On the other hand, the Somei and Hayakawa couple was much more interesting, and the episodes where they focused on these 2 were, in my opinion, the best ones in the anime, but they are not the main focus of the anime.
The artstyle wasn't the greatest either, I always found it creepy how they drew the non-important characters without eyes. And other aspects, such as the directions in some scenes, OST and that weren't anything outstanding either.
And it still bothers me how they never explained properly what kind of company Yui and Masugu work for, even if it's important for the overall anime.
These last few episodes were much better than the 1st ones, but still, for example, this PR thing isn't something I'm a big fan of.

The anime was for sure enjoyable, and watching Masugu and Yui grow as a couple was for sure cute, but it didn't touch me that much besides that. Even if I found the side couple much more interesting, and the latest episodes were more interesting, I still don't think I enjoyed this anime as much as I thought I would. I was between giving a 7 or a 8 to this anime, but I have made up my mind, and after 3 weeks of seeing this last episode, I came to the conclusion this anime didn't leave that much of an impact on me, which confirms the grade I'm giving it.
So, I'm giving this anime a 7/10, mainly because I felt detached to the main couple, which ends up being the main focus of the anime (as you would expect). Although it is for sure a breath of fresh air to see a more mature romance like this on in anime, I feel like sometimes the anime didn't live up to this premise, mainly in the 1st episodes, and in the later ones when they tried to bring some kind of twist to the whole relationship, like Yui's transfer to HR, it just didn't feel right or was well executed. But it is no doubt an enjoyable anime, and I would watch a 2nd season, if it were to exist.

Edit: Forgot to mention, but the revelation of how Masugu and Yui met was cute, but I think it should have been something revealed much earlier, rather than in the last episode.

Decent anime. It took me a while to finish watching this anime cuz it was kinda boring and repetitive for the most part. I liked the 2nd couple more than the main couple.

Compared to other top tier office romcoms like WotaKoi, this anime leaves much to be desired. Overall 6/10, I guess.

I'm so glad I came back to re-watch/finish this series cause its so GODDAM ADORABLE!!!!!! This is definitely one of the best romances I've ever watched. It was adorable all the way throughout and even the side couple was great to watch. There basically being no drama as well was a huge point for me as I hate drama. We just got an adorable office romance.
Yuritopia FTW!!!!!!!!! BANZAI TO YURI !!!!!!!!!!!!
