Here to answer everyone questions:

This movie is simply a compilation of the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" arc. There won’t be any new scenes, since most of this content was already animated in Season 2. It’s essentially all five episodes combined into a single film, likely around 1 to 2 hours long.

That said, since it’s being released as a movie, you can expect enhanced animation quality. That likely means more dynamic shadows, improved linework, and smoother, more cinematic action choreography. It’s not new content, but it’ll look cleaner and more polished overall (similar to the BD). A good option for new viewers who missed Season 2, since the animation will be better.

Whether or not you choose to watch this movie is entirely up to you. Some may see it as a cash grab, while others might view it as a way for MAPPA to generate extra revenue to support production for Season 3.

Last thing: Don’t blame this movie for any delays in the Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc. The team working on this project is completely different from the Chainsaw Man team, so they’re not connected.

I didn't realize this was a recap otherwise I would've saved my money. I watched but was about 7 minutes late but as soon as I walked in I recognized the mission they were on. I'm a bit disappointed that it was a recap.

People were talking during the movie and walking back and forth across the screen and the sound was abysmal and would've been better on my headphones.

Anyways, if you don't like recaps don't watch it. xD

@_Rearden_ Bro, Do have prove that it not better. Bro i literally watch watch the compilation jjk already in theatres it clearly has better animation than the anime. The color, shadows, and cinematic action choreography look much cleaner than the anime. Although they didn't add any new scene it much better compare the anime in turns of animation quality.
