| Oh my what a twist for Arcana real identity. Celis actually refer the goddess of betrayal to Arcana in which already found her memory from the previous encounter with God of Vestiges till they reveal it all here. Anos still remain calm over those loli drama through the end kinda amaze me. Especially with his closing remark, too powerful, my lord... All in all, its rushed as hell, but there's nothing i can do since this is Silver Link and whoever behind the prod committee doing. I am mad but it is, it is. Consider giving bad rate already since before, tho the twist and Nao outstanding job especially with the cries gonna salvage this show from deepest misery. |

| In the end, I skimmed everything after giving 4 eps a shot. I didn't have any expectations for the production given that it was obviously plagued by issues and delays, but my issue is honestly on the story itself. Where exactly is the author trying to go with this one? Why should I care about this whole god selection and how is it related to Anos, his resurrection, etc? It just feels like the author ran out of idea after finishing the main arc and are now throwing a completely new story to their existing chars just to avoid creating an entirely new story and to piggyback on the success of their previous one. Ultimately there was nothing that drew me to the new plot and the thing the story excelled in during S1 which was Anos' gross display of power against enemies that feel like they would've put up a fight against any other enemy along with the mystery of some plot related to the changes prior to his resurrection....to now facing random "saints" and "gods", each useless and don't' feel like they hold any weight and some plot about newly revealed "family" that honestly does anyone really care about? when he already has the best possible father and mother waiting at home. Misha and Sasha also was reduced to statues that just stood by his side to look pretty for pretty much the entire arc |
| Not so good. I mean, I like the characters but I think we've lost the sparkle of season 1. Here I didn't understand half the dialogue, I didn't understand the stakes and they were throwing three tonnes of names of deific level concepts at us, the author overdid it which meant I was lost. As for the story of the little sister, I feel like that could have been sorted out twice as quickly instead of having to fight all these religious battles. The action phases were disappointing, with no real direction, which resulted in no really badass moments, even though Anos is badass as a character, which is a shame... Misha and Sasha, like in season 2 part 1, were useless even though they're cute, I deplore the lack of interaction between them and Anos, I feel like Ray and Misa have more stuff going on between them. I liked the scenes with Professor Erdomaid though and the bit with the j-pop singing was funny. We've lost ambition with this series with too many complications. |

| So basically he defeated the weight of the past by the weight of the future. Arcana turned out to be the goddess of betrayal and vengeance. Anyway Anos still resolved things in his way. The parents reaction never gets old. Took me a while to finish this. S2 p1 was a stepdown from s1 and this was even further below. The poor adaptation on top messed things up even more. Funny how most people complaining didn't even understand what was going on though. Yes the content was worse but it wasn't nonsense, not by far. Can understand why general fanbase got confused though. |
