Finally, you said the art is average. I think it's better than a lot of fantasy/isekai manga we see nowadays, but I have seen better. Everything in my top 10 manga on my profile is better. I'd be interested in knowing which manga you think have the best art @StarZone1 but you don't have a top 10/ Favourite Manga list on your profile and none of your manga are scored on your list. No worries. I'll leave a few recommendations and you can look into them or let me know which manga you think have the best art.

I appreciate your views. The manga did start very promisingly and I've been reading from more or less the start or at least from when it eas mentioned on Trash Taste.

The info on the cosplay was a big draw for me to begin with apso and I wish it had more of that in it still.

I think the manga could benefit from a long pause so the mangaka can eork out more of the story and learn how to write males characters. I know the industry doesn't really work like that but it'd definitely help. At this point I'm just hoping the anime will go in it's own direction somewhat inorder to fix those issues.

I'm not a massive manga reader and I'm not overly a fan of ranking something when it's not finished which is why I've held off on doing that. I'm also not overly fussed about the art. I've not read it yet but obviously the best art would have to got to Berserk.

I'll certainly have a look through your recommendations though, thanks for that list.

I'm hoping the next chapter might go back and show us what happened between the end of the photoshoot and the train ride home. Feels very off that neither of them would talk to each other.

On more careful reading, at first we see them standing next to each other near the subway car doors, but not looking at each other. Some other people board the car, and they are pushed apart, and don't bother to get together. Still pretty cold, and a big contrast from Chapter whatever when they are coming home from the first cosplay and Gogo calls her 'beautiful', an important moment.

The guy at the end who is the Haniel mangaka (?) saying he has finished the storyboards -- for an anime, or live action TV show? Maybe this will turn into some professional opportunity for Marin.

She needs to stop taking Gojo for granted though. Honestly, he'd be better off with Juju-sama's kid sister at this point.

@Greentreefrog Are you okai? It´s clearly Gojo that is at fault for that, even if it is subconscious. I dont get how everyone is shitting on Marin, when in real life you wouldnt know what to do or say either xD

It's got nothing to do with just drawing one character or focusing on one character for a few chapters. It's that there was zero progression and every box was just a repeat of the last and this is in a monthly manga release.

At this point, the plot became stale, and the worst part is the lack of content for a chapter that takes a month to be made.

Those complaining about the story going bad, it’s not. It’s a slow burn manga. Plus, Fukuda (author) said that the current arc is her favorite arc in the story and thus it’s taking more time than the other arcs, she switched it to monthly so she can draw more panels for it.

If you’re looking at every new chapter asking yourself “when Gojo and Marin are finally going to be together?”, might as well drop it now because you’re setting your high expectations up for nothing.

This series just reached 100 chapters, it’s gonna take a while for them to get together since Marin and Gojo are both in a mess emotionally and mentally and they’re learning to figure it out how to communicate with each other at their lowest.

She says she wants her but don't ask if she was the one that made that pretty cosplay. I guess she doesn't care as she probably has designer an the such but that is a shame.

I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something.

People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English.

To everyone who jumped out at Chapter 100....I strongly suggest, you jump back in and read up to and including Chapter 107. We got some excellent developments in 105 and 106 and Chapter 107 was exactly what we all needed. You'll enjoy it and then you'll be like the rest of us. Eagerly waiting till September for Chapter 108.

As for print volumes, Volume 12 will be out in English on October 22, 2024 with the anime fanbook shortly after that. Volume 13 and 14 are still on the way. Chapter 107 will be included in Volume 14. If you want to wait, check back for more content then.

As for the upcoming second season of the anime, here are my thoughts.
First season covered 5 volumes (Indroduction- Shizuku Cosplay, Black Lobelia Cosplay, Veronica Cosplay, Liz the Succubus Cosplay, and Fireworks Festival) and IF the second season covers the same amount, it'll tell the following arcs: (Ikebukuro Event, Cultural Festival, Horror Photo Shoot, Christmas). They probably won't have room for the Winter Comiket event (which just wrapped up) unless they do a shorter third season, but that's unlikely considering how busy Cloverworks is these days. Unless they decided to wait until they were ready to make a season 2 and 3 back to back.

Whatever form this series takes, I'll stick around to read it once a month. I have to see how this ends.
