Your perception of the content and who it targets doesn't matter, you're just a random schmuck on the internet; what matters is the intent of the writers. | Wow, people get triggered because the series they praise as Seinen isn't actually Seinen story-wise. If I publish Pokemon on Seinen Magazines yes it technically will be Seinen but it's only wrong labeling. Just like Tokyo Ghoul is wrongly labeled as seinen when it belongs to shounen jump. Tokyo Ghoul is a seinen only praised by children and mostly hated by adults. WRONG LABELING Re:Zero is a seinen dark fantasy praised by adults and hated by teenagers. TRUE SEINEN Berserk is a shounen dark fantasy like Attack on Titan praised by both teenagers and adults, it's depth easily understandable by 14 years old. SHOUNEN |

| Berserk is published in a Seinen magazine, therefore it is a Seinen. This isn't something of accepting or not, that is a fact. No matter if you think the content is childish the fact it is published in a Seinen magazine makes it a Seinen. This is basically as if I said I don't accept Kaguya-sama as a Seinen because it is extremely childish, but I don't say stuff like that, because Kaguya-sama is a Seinen and no one can change that. |
