Now having watched the episode, yeah, wtf happened here. I wouldn't have said that Komi-san has absolutely stellar animation, but it was solid, decent, clean, and very consistent; that already is a tall task in itself. Episode 10, however, was NOT it fam






There's more, but these here are certainly the stand-out truly BREATH-TAKING shots. The rest isn't TOO bad, but it is undeniably a downgrade from the consistency and crispness we've been getting. Watched the episode on animixplay as usual, not that it makes a difference though.

If anyone wants to defend this and say that it still looks as good as ever, then, well, you do you I guess lol

Komi-san had always presented a good quality in it's episodes, but episode 10 was not the case.

Simple drawing and stumbling animation.
Let's hope the quality improves for the next episode.

Ye dude, I’ve been told many times. I can see it, but it just wasn’t terribly bad. Komi and Tadano just looked bad in some shots. I think some dude said that the animation director wasn’t able to “communicate” with the animation team or something, prolly will go back to normal next episode. It’s was only noticeable because the animation itself is really stellar for every other episode

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. Like I couldn’t get in the mood to enjoy Komi-san like every week bc I kept getting distracted by the poor quality of the drawings.

Even worst is how they handled the events of the last part, they made Komi look really bad by having her do all she did while Tadano just stood there, Komi would never do that
