| Didn't expect to see so much disappointed people in comments... This is still a very bittersweet ending. Yes, Shizuka didn't kill herself and Marina stops bullying her and they became friends, BUT their parents didn't change and are absolute human garbage. Marina had a scar on her face too (same as in the 1st timeline). Azuma had the best ending it seems. I'm surprised so many people were confused with how good ending happened. Takopi sacrificed himself and rewinded time, but all three kids kind-of remembered him and own past lives (Azuma for instance remembered to fight his bro and he did, and that changed everything. He even stopped simping for Shizuka). Due to past memories, their hearts changed. Shizuka didn't try to kill herself, while Marina stopped bullying Shizuka. At the end Takopi managed to at least partially make all 3 of the kids happy. It still sucks massively that the two girls have shit life due to POS parents, but at least there's no bullying and they have each other now, thanks to Takopi. So there's hope. I'm surprised Takopi died anyways. P.S This shit is why aliens don't visit us man! One of those stories where you just can't help but hate humankind. |
| Happy Ending, that's all it was. the characters emotions, you can feel them from the art. this was genuinely a nice story, binge read it all in one go. story execution to everything was great. only plot hole i found weird was the kidnapping of the 2 kids, how did she even do it lol. It was really a good story, art, cinematography, execution, non-linear. I liked it more than Ichinose family's deadly sins 7/10 |

| All it had to happen was Marina and Shizuka getting along but Takopii had the tool to do it from the very beginning, and said tool never appeared again in the rest of the series for some reason. Literally the conflicts with their parents were never solved too. Which, well, I guess the author wanted to say that hey it's not your fault your life is shit, JUST BE HAPPY HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH God what the heck was that ending. They plagiarized Mawaru Penguindrum's ending but worse. |

| Loneliness, depression, tragedy, violence, fits of rage, suicide... They are overused in such a short little manga and moreover it ended with a rushed and unlogical happy conclusion. I understand that I was wrong taking it seriously to begin with. |
