That's what I've been doing right along. Even if I dislike the anime, I finish watching it, but just decide to not watch its other seasons. I'm very determined to never drop an anime

Nah, I only watch things that entertain me, if something doesn't I would either put in in my ptw(if I feel it has the potential to entertain me) or drop it.
I dropped 46 titles till now.

I am a useless student of society.
Tests are my body and Grades are my blood.
I have done over a thousand assignments.
Unseen by teachers,
nor done properly.
Yet, those hands shall never hold an outstanding grade.
So, as I pray...

I do watch to complete it but also because I want to be fair. I feel like when I watch a show and I decide I don't like it and tell someone, someone who liked it insists it's because I didn't give it enough of a chance. So I go out of my way to watch the entire thing to say Yes. I can confirm. I DID NOT LIKE IT.
Sometimes it actually works for me; I didn't like the beginnings of Boku no Hero Academia or Erased, but I forced myself to sit through them both and ended up loving them. Same thing goes the other way; I loved Shakugan no Shana at the beginning but realized eventually the story was getting too complicated and pointless. Completing it makes me feel like I can judge fairly.

After some years, it happens. No longer being able to appreciate the anime, for how good it is. But in stead only care about the prestige that comes with having watched it.

Thank goodness I'm not there yet, I hope to never get there at all.

Ya well it hxh for me well it was good and then the chimera ant arc came and was slow af bruh and I dropped it at ep113 but then a few months later I finished it ya but it ruined hxh for me

I usually just complete a series even if I don't like it. The numbers are a boost in confidence but not really the target.
