Gabi is most definitely WORSE than Eren in a few senses. First, she takes enjoyment in killing. You might say this is actually a similarity between Eren and Gabi because they both have a burning hatred towards an enemy of their land. However, the weird thing is she hates her own race and curses herself, wishing to doom her own fate as an Elysian. To me and most likely, Eren, it sounds like the argument of someone who is willing to trade their freedom away and live a horrible life. Eren wanted for more and wished to pursue knowledge and learn more about his enemies. Even though he wanted to kill them, Titans are NOT HUMANS. They are monsters to Eren’s eyes but the Paradis “Devils” are literal humans of a different race. Eren hates the Titans so much that he wanted to kill his Reiner and Bartholdi, his comrades in training, in the slowest, most painful way possible. However, he always wanted to learn more about them and seek knowledge. Gabi is a just a burnt-brained war machine who loves killing. This leads me to Gabi’s second difference from Eren. Her basic lack for human empathy. This changes later but Gabi constantly looks down on her comrades and peers, reminding them of how much cuter, smarter, and better as a Warrior she is. She also loves killing, almost like a sadistic gamer playing a FPS. Eren was never like that. Gabi never saw any trauma in her entire life and was force-fed the shit Marley brainwashed with their own history and rage against the Eldians. Eren saw his own mom get eaten and he still kept his empathy and compassion for humans, constantly hating to see humans dying. He never took fun in ANY killing. They are pretty damn different. Only thing they have in common is their hot-headed aggression (at their age). |

Stfu . Gabi is very different from eren . Gabi is a fucking bitch who doesn't understand anything while our eren understood the world outside the walls . He even said himself that it is same both inside and outside the walls . Can somebody tell me y the fuck Gabi has more followers than Reiner or sasha or Falco or Jean . All of the mentioned are better characters than Gabi imo . Her followers are bunch of dipshits |

the difference between Gabi and Eren is that Chadren is a well written character and an ubermensch. gabi fills a 'role' in the story but acts more of a plot device than anything else. her development stops halfway through this arc and she immediately stops evolving as soon as she begins to question her brainwashing. |

I'm gonna trigger some people but well. When you guys are told that God exists constantly by parents and other people around you. You believe in God so aren't you brainwashed for believing in something you haven't seen? Or even experienced? Same is with gabi but in a negative way so I'll say think before you speak. People believe in ghosts and gods despite them not witnessing them just cause someone told them right? So gabi was told eldians are demon by EVERYONE so how do you expect a kid to understand such complex stuff such as war also when eren attacked them her belief became reality when her friends and comrades died so how in the wolrd you expect someone to just believe people who literally killed someone in front of you like are you serious. |

imbAF said: well she actually realize it simple though, you know... to her exterminating paradis island will grant her and eldian from liberio a better state around the world. i predict the same situation like warhamer family x marley would happen again if marley x liberio eldians could take down the paradis island. see... warhaer family x marley against king fritz = liberio eldians x marley against paradis island... both cases basically the same.. GoshaX said: imbAF said: She is not. Apparently Gabi is more brainwashed then Falco, Udo and the rest. And apparently Gabi is more stupid then Udo, who pretty much told her that, the world will always hate the eldians for what they do in war. It simply makes the situation worse for them, but gabi apparently is also not only more brainwashed but also more stupid then the rest and she couldn't understand that. And apparently Gabi has no remorse when killing others, whenever Marley tells her to do so. Very strange that she is more brainwashed, more stupid and has less remorse then everyone around her. Eren couldn't transform into a titan when he had to fight vs Annie. And he cried when reiner and bertholt were revealed as the traitors. Eren is just! Gabi is trash! You need to read my comment again. And she is stupid, because Udo was able (same age and same propaganda fed into him) to deduce that, the things eldians to in war, only makes matters worse for them on a global scale, gabi, on the other hand can't realize something so simple! |

We don't do that here, we can't state the truth ahah People can't see that what Eren did in Liberio was a terrorist attack. They expect a kid that is a warrior to not try and have revenge? People are just blinded by a reality they don't want to see. Curiously, that's exactly what the author wanted to show, and people didn't understand it. Such as Eren wants to destroy the world "for his friends", Gabi wanted to save her family and friends' family. When you read this please notice the verb form used please. And a tip, who writes about history is always the winner side of the war. A simplified way to understand that last phrase, the war in Middle East, there are also civilian casualties, however, the reported in the news is we are stopping terrorism. What about all the non-terrorists who live there? They just wanted to live, and I sure bet that some that may have lost their loved ones in the war believe that the military there are the Demons. Just tried to apply some real world situation, maybe people can understand it more easily. Though I'm not saying that there aren't any terrorists there, whatever, just wanted to talk about the good people there, which I want to believe is more than 99% of the population |

Sadly, most people can't or refuse to understand that fact. Like they were almost brainwashed into thinking that Eren is the absolute greatness and nothing he does is wrong xD see what I did here? They just want to believe in their precious MC. With any luck the anime adapts everything and they see who is the real monster. But even so, I think they would agree with him and not blame him. I agree, Eren is a greatly structured character, that also has his flaws. I just wanted people to understand and stop bashing Gabi when there's 2 sides to the story. Sadly, most people can't or refuse to understand that fact. Like they were almost brainwashed into thinking that Eren is the absolute greatness and nothing he does is wrong xD see what I did here? XD ahah |

I don't understand how Gabi is stupid? because she is thought from her birth that Eldians are bad? Eren is just a demon as the marleyans are. Eren kills people with no remorse too. Eren cried because he believed in Reiner and Bertholt and both of them betrayed him, this has nothing to do with this discussion. She is not. Bruh, there was nothing eren is brainwashed about .You don't have time to be brainwashed when humanity is at stake.Eren's actions were justified. It was humans vs beasts, there is no option but to hate them. There was no human involved and when they were revealed to be so,Eren was the most sad guy.Lets say we knew about Eldian's ancestors being the devils of the world and lets say we believe they terrorized everyone.Even knowing that,Eren's actions were justified. But here is Gabi, she has person right in front of her who is ready to accept the truth, still she keeps on bitching the same shit. What has she witnessed that made her hate them so much without trying to accept the other side of the story.Eren witnessed his mother's,his friends,Hannes's death. He has every right to be angry. She is not same as Eren,I liked Eren, but I hate her. |

i get what youre trying to say but i dont agree theyre NOT the same "Eren joined the Scouts to liberate all the people in the world. He never intended to kill anyone. Gabi volunteered to be a Warrior candidate to oppress anyone Marley wanted her to, as long as she and her immediate family could benefit, and she was already killing people left and right to do it." --- by some clever guy they both want the same thing but their actions, personalities and pasts are totally different there are many parallels between the two but that doesn’t mean they’re necessarily the same |

>Gabi is literally Eren Gabi is NOTHING like Eren. Eren was a well-meaning kid who cared about his friends and always tried to do the right thing, Gabi is an unlikable bitch who thinks she's hot shit and that everyone else is trash. "Everyone hated Eren before Season 4" is as braindeaded as Abbyfags claiming they always hated Joel. |

"Everyone hated Eren before Season 4" is as braindeaded as Abbyfags claiming they always hated Joel. Gabi cares about her friends. Eren's mom got killed by titans - Eren wanted to exterminate titans Gabi's friends got killed by Eren and Scouts- Gabi wanted to kill Eren and Paradis people. Actually, they ARE the same.' And about Gabi thinking she's hot - that's something she said to her friends in a good will. If you are manga reader you'd know that - Gabi is kid Eren who later understands that all Eldians aren't bad and helps the Scouts while Eren never understands that the whole world isn't bad. People hate Gabi cuz she killed Sasha and we are all attached to Sasha. Imagine the story being told from Gabi's pov and we getting attached to Udo and Zofia. We all would hate the Scouts. |

That's what isayama tried to show that just cause you're part of let's say a nation that doesn't mean other nation's or people are wrong and you're the only one right(just a way to explain I hope I'm able to). Also people are clearly just taking sidees with paradis and not getting the actual point of the show. It's just pure bias towards the main cast of the show._hachi8man said: I'm gonna trigger some people but well. Though I'm not saying that there aren't any terrorists there, whatever, just wanted to talk about the good people there, which I want to believe is more than 99% of the population Very well then, since you want a debate I'll give you this comment. Gabi enjoyed killing, sure, she did, whatever. The point here is the following: Gabi killed and "enjoyed" killing in order to increase her family status to become honorary marleyans by getting the Armoured Titan. And to achieve this result she had to prove it in war. So, she didn't enjoy being a weapon, she wanted to be a weapon to protect Eldians in Liberio. Or you don't remember that she wanted to protect the Eldians in Liberio? Gabi believed they deserved punishment, because well, I'm sorry to inform you, but every single kid until the age of at least 13/14 does and believes whatever their family teaches them. That's why you study philosophy and other stuff at school, to develop yourself into thinking by your own head and questioning everything. Which curiously, she actually did it afterwards. Relatively to being a soldier, well, I'm sorry to inform you, but in war, you either kill or get yourself killed. And, in case you missed it, she also blew up the train to protect the Eldians in the war, or did you miss that part? lmao fam, blablabla, she's a trained soldier, if she didn't kill in the war, she would die. But hey, the rumbling and killing millions is acceptable by Eren as far as I see in the comments. Gabi on the other hand, had an incredible character development, but whatever... I have the read the manga until the last chapter that is out ATM, have you? I honestly don't care anymore about this fandom and thread. People refuse to see the other side, that's all I have to say. But no one can mention their precious Eren with his atrocious actions that even his (Eden's) friends refute his ideologies. Peace and I'm out. Don't quote me please, I don't want notifications about this thread anymore. People are too judgemental and refuse to try to understand both sides. Looks like a pledge of allegiance to Eren lol |
