instead we get a story where being stupid is somehow sexy. Makoto is propably missing 2-3 chromosomes and somehow that is hot.

school days could be a good anime if the events where the results of good characters making complex mistakes and leading to their eventual downfall ( good old greek tragedy )

but what we got is bad things happening because stupid characters make awful ,goofy ,comedically bad decisions .

makoto didnt carry anything. its specifically because of makoto that this animes potential is wasted . its a great idea but horrible execution
