| Whatever just happened seems extremely convoluted. Hopefully they explain it a little more thoroughly in the next episode. It was easy enough to piece together Escarossa and Mael being the same person and whatnot. But, to reach that point was so roundabout. The use of a forbidden spell that affects essentially everyone was random as heck. Merlin debuffing Chandler and Cusack was neat. |

This... ***THIS*** is how anime/manga is supposed to be written when the idea is to blow the minds of watchers/readers waaay down the road into the final season. I freakin' love this so much, I cannot find the words to describe it. Haters of this show be damned, I don't care if you call me an NNT fanboy at this point, this just created a valid rationale for being one.
