| Even Stella's VA said that the character is 10% 'tsun' and 90% 'dere'. Most of the 'tsun' aspect came from the first episode with a bit of it in the 3rd episode. From the 4th episode on, it's basically all 'dere'. That is the exact opposite of typical tsundere. |

| I hope there'll be a 2nd season, this is one of my favorite series so far Protagonist like Ikki is really something IMHO XD, and the IkkiXStella are my other favorites of sword couple beside KiriSuna The aspect of sword battle also one of my interest, although in this adaptation the sword battle doesn't feel intense as the LN ( like the battle with todo, with kirihara still great tho) Actually the chance for getting 2nd season is quite low for something like this, but i still hope it'll get 2nd season dantay456 said: Dragnhard said: All wrong, they have announced season 2 of this anime. | o.o What's wrong with you people, the question was if there was going to be a second season, not who is tsundere and who is not e.e Either way i found the show enjoyable, found the novel enjoyable, for all that's worth i'm in for a second season and consider this one of my personal favourites cuz...well the MC got my attention xD but i have a weird taste so dont go flaming me, i like shows that got capable MCs like ikki, kiritsugu, shiba tatsuya, etc. And yes i've watched the generic school battle animes like world break and so on but that doesnt mean it makes this story and progression any less appealing, i mean c'mon u all focus on the girl and shit instead of the nice combat scenes and ikkis progression and all the cool stuff, it's like dismissing every mmorpg cuz it's a WoW clone, (game comparison, dont bite my head off over it) it has its nice tweaks o.o (BB Hazama for life tho *cough*) |
| I like Stella. She's our usual tsundere MC but theres an unexplained charm on her. I do hope that theres a season 2 someday. Or even OVA fan service episode. like.. |

I'll go with the bad point first - Generic character - Generic story Since i haven't fully watch it yet goddamn the first episode is almost like any other anime troupes including the character background. It has a good points though which is why the score almost hit 8. - The character relationship - The Sound aspect including OP/ED,SFX,and OST - The art and animation is fine i guess it is above average. For the tittle you mentioned garbage i am kinda intrigued. Well tbh SnK is okay, great but far from masterpiece but it is amusingly entertaining. Not really my favorites but i don't think it's a garbage. BnHA isn't generic as it looks, every character got screentime, it redefine shounen as it used to be, there's no clichéd scene there, sound aspect and animation are superb, every character including villain have their background. It has development, even overpowered character have it's own different side. Tbh i don't mind for season 2, in fact i would prefer a full adaptation for the anime, but again it's those kind of adaptation from "Light Novel" which rarely get a sequel. BnHA and AoT seems more promising for a full adaptation even though it won't adapt full you can always wait for a translation. This one? I think people gave up. Silver link seems busy in 2018 there might be a new tittle or sequel announcements coming Up in spring 2018 look forward to it. |
| Fun fact, everyone that says the anime is generic and like every other hasnt watched all episodes (because 12-13 is too much it seems) first 2 episodes are really damn big baits when it comes to showing how generic it looks but its charm comes later as we all start cheering for ikki that doesnt just go: oh lookie he got a magic gauntlet that gives him power from a dragon...nah we cheer cuz he works his butt for it. (i dont think working hard is a spoiler, sorry if it is?XD) |

It would be one of a hell budget to make a sequel with same adaptation, at best it would be like date a live 2 which is 10 episode and no conclusion lol, simply just a boost before the LN end. I would really like to say "there's a better anime to adapt than this generic tittle" but that wouldn't really help people to stop hoping for the sequel. I am done waiting. Either way once the LN close to end which might be this year or next but probably won't hold longer so author could join isekai trashwagon. |
