The first season wasn't great but it was still fun to watch.
The second season wasn't great but it was still fun to watch.
The third season wasn't great. And it was boring.
Hopefully the fourth season is a return to how the show used to be.

I'm just curious to know how many volume of the heroic oppai dragon arc will be serialized?

Is it gonna be 8-10 or 9 and 10 or 9-12 or 8-12 ?

Apparently the author of the light novels is writing the script for this season. He switched to Passione because he was dissapointed with how the last studio adapted Born.

Well to be fair the author hated it also thats why a different studio making this, because S3 did not follow his source material 1st half i think he did but then just became original studio content. I think this is planning to fix alot of the issues of the previous season so thats some good news.

this discussion board, the first person does talks alot about the conflict and why TNK not producing the anime anymore.

summarise - the studio fucked up so badly and forget to include a vital moment that if this series goes to what maybe 6 seasons it be impossible because that detail was not included and fucks up the plot. The author wanted anime fans and light novel fans to have a better version and his work being presented in anime form plus being faithful so he decided TNK will fuck it up again and decide with Passione.

Purely in an animation wise i think its a smart move as in the trailers even though the art has a slight downgrade the animation is much more fluid and has alot more motion.

U can ask the person where they got they source however i think i found it elsewhere also just can't find a specific link however this person post does a good job outlining the reasons.

We even got the Oppai Song again.. this season id off to a great start.
