and i meant these (a literal repost)
You didn't post those before and I have posted different outfits for cartoon characters already.

TomDay said:
those nose and lips tho......
Nothing wrong with them.

TomDay said:
but it was mostly DC and Marvel. if i take those out there's SU and three adventure time posts. then you showed some old shows like xmen. and even then you said that adventure time was a minority.
DC and Marvel CARTOONS ARE CARTOONS and should and will be posted. If you can post any anime irregardless of genre then it has to be the same for cartoons. Don't be a hypocrite! Besides DC and Marvel , SU, AT I have posted from Star vs the Forces of Evil, Archer, Monster High. ALL OF THESE ARE MODERN cartoons. The stuff you are mainly posting are 90's and early 2000's cartoons which are old cartoons. I said Adventure Time was the minority where female characters wouldn't have noses and lips. Please stop playing stupid.

Tomday said:
i do. love me some gumball.
Amazing, one 2010's cartoon.

TomDay said:
not as old as the xmen, which is over 20 years old. at best mine are only five, and that was only one show. the rest was like 2014. well, clannad is like 2007-8 so 9 and 8yrs old.
I was talking about the cartoons you posted which are mainly 90's early 2000's except for Phineas and Pherb. The majority of cartoons I have been posting are modern 2010's cartoons).

Young Justice 2010 -2013
Regular Show 2010 - ongoing
Adventure Time 2010 - ongoing
Steven Universe 2013 -ongoing
Star vs Forces of evil 2015 - ongoing
Monster High 2010 - ongoing
Archer 2010 - ongoing

TomDay said:
i did NOT say that. i said that BESIDES DC/Marvel there are barely any modern cartoons that have lips.
Moonbeam City, Archer, Steven Universe, Star Wars Clone Wars, Black Dynamite, 2010, Monster High, Ever After High, Jack and the Cuckoo Clock Heart, Frozen etc. I swear you know nothing about modern cartoons. Most of your examples are old cartoons .

TomDay said:
dude...i'm not tryna get on your back and all but...you just posted for shows...which is almost less than half of the examples i gave (9).
I have given close to that and you just dismiss everything I post. I'm not a jackass to keeping on posting stuff that you are not even acknowledging.

TomDay said:
agreed. it's agreed that squared afros are memorable. but they are not the majority.
If they were the majority then they wouldn't be memorable genius. Please use your head.

TomDay said:
ok. post 12 cartoons - THAT ARE MODERN AND KNOWN - that have changing fashions REGUARLY - not any special episodes, not any special times, reguarly.
I have already posted enough and as I said ROGER CHANGES CLOTHES MORE THAN ANY ANIME CHARACTER. HE HAS DIFFERENT CLOTHES EVERY SINGLE EPISODE FOR OVER 100 EPISODES. Also you are talking about known anime yet most of those anime you posted are not known outside the anime community

TomDay said:
yeah i know. i'm talking about the anime part, you are supposed to prove me round in the cartoon part.
I have proven you wrong in the cartoon part.

TomDay said:
DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW POPULAR DORA IS WTHECK DUDE LOL
It doesn't matter how popular the character is she is in the minority of those types of characters.

TomDay said:
would you prefer girls with freakishly big heads instead?
like this?
No hence why the characters I posted don't have heads so big.

Tomday said:
superheroines
EXCEPT FOR ONE picture non of the pictures there are from superhero cartoons.Hell one is an action figure. Also yes they are more covered up than typical anime ecchi characters and less sexualized so you don't see their tits jiggling and close up shots of their vulvas (not that anything is wrong with that if you are horny, I have watched Queen's Blade for that purpose) like you would see in an ecchi harem anime. THAT'S A FACT!

You are not seeing any cleavage of Wonder Woman here.

or here

or here

or here

Her bathing suit isn't half revealing as that character from Eiken I posted.

Power girl is only showing a little cleavage and no she doesn't look slutty.

Tomday said:
yeah. boobs and supergirls are just unheard of.
I have never said boobs don't exist in DC I said they were more proportionate than boobs in anime. Boobs in anime is way more super overly big than in DC cartoons.

Tomday said:
KnD didn't start in the 90's...and most (or all) of these shows still continue to this day with absolutely no change at all.
It started in 2002 which is 14 years ago. Spongebob, Family Guy are the only ones that continue and they are not modern because they first came out in the 90's. Try naming real modern cartoons that started in the 2010's.

No problem, nothing wrong with a late reply. We can all be busy at some point. I haven't deleted any of my posts. If any of my posts in this thread were deleted it would have been by a mod.

I checked through the thread and non of my posts have been deleted.

oh lol i was looking at page one lol. had no idea there was a second one.

anyway -

this is getting quite off topic so i'll only talk about the main points.

examples

DrGeroCreation said:
You didn't post those before and I have posted different outfits for cartoon characters already.

ah, i see. you didn't see my edited post. after i typed that first time i decided to scrap it and make another point. reread it, you'll see it's there.

Young Justice

you posted 4 examples of young justice, and that was only in the lips and nose department. again, that's DC and i have already said that DC/Marvel and basically any superhero show does that. that's why i said cartoons nowadays that DON'T have DC/Marvel or superheroes barely have that. i wasn't dismissing. i was trying to make a point.

Regular Show

you showed 8 examples of regular show, in the fashion department. a very fair example but it's still only one show, and it's not common in most shows.

Adventure Time

you only showed two examples of hair in that show.

Steven Universe

you only showed 4 examples of that show.

Star vs Forces of evil
Monster High
Archer

and you only showed one example of these for fashion. all together that tolls as 4 shows and 11 examples, 90% of that going to regular.

in my example posts, there was least 2 examples per show, and most commonly 5+ per show. altogether those are ten shows chosen on a whim.
again, i'm not dismissing. i'm simply saying that they're not enough when compared to anime. you seem to have me confused when i say this. i'm not saying fashion doesn't exist in cartoons. i'm saying the majority do not have them.

and even for those fashion changes, they are still missing a realmism point that anime provides (ON THE NORM. MAYBE CARTOONS DOES THIS BUT NOT A LOT OF THEM).

if i take those photo examples you have

with just one example of mine

you can still see the differences of how the clothes are worn. in cartoons the clothes are skin tight, as if the people drew the clothes literally on the characters, as if the the clothes themselves are part of their skin. in anime clothes are drawn with the characters. there are ruffles, actual space for the clothes to breath. it's not just glued and slapped on their bodies. you can actually picture them picking out their clothes and putting them on.

with cartoons they look like they've been tattooed on lol.

Moonbeam City, Archer, Steven Universe, Star Wars Clone Wars, Black Dynamite, 2010, Monster High, Ever After High, Jack and the Cuckoo Clock Heart, Frozen etc. I swear you know nothing about modern cartoons. Most of your examples are old cartoons .

>steven universe does not have lips as prominent as DC/Marvel.

you only showed that one girl which is true of course but the rest is nowhere near that level.

>again, not going on the CGI track again. both have their fair shares of facial features.

>monster high has girls with tons of makup therefore making lipstick therefore making their lips prominent. anime does that as well so that point isn't so good. same for ever after high. and black dynamite has a negro guy, which lips are AUTOMATICALLY put inside, since as i said before people make sure to put lips on negro people since there's that lie that people believe that they're the only type of people with substantial lips.

Hell one is an action figure. THAT'S A FACT!

...why on earth did you pick a genre dedicated to the sex drive? of course there would be anything like that in there. but with CHILDREN CARTOONS you get half-nude girls. that's the real problem there.

You are not seeing any cleavage of Wonder Woman here.

i said nothing about her and her boobs.

Power girl is only showing a little cleavage and no she doesn't look slutty.

there is still absolutely 100% no reason to put a boobcrack on a woman who doesn't need it. moreover, you say she doesn't look slutty with boobs showing, but you included this gif

which shows no skin at all but you still used that as an example.

I have never said boobs don't exist in DC I said they were more proportionate than boobs in anime. Boobs in anime is way more super overly big than in DC cartoons.

i was joking. exaggerating and joking.

You are the one who has made this whole thread off topic by only talking abut hair , clothes and not facial features.

TomDay said:

Yeah I didn't notice because you edited it in later.

TomDay said:

Miss Martian was in the clothes department as well with lips. So why are you limiting cartoons but not anime? Slice and life anime and romcoms do that so why not restrict them? You also haven't proved that considering I have shown a lot of different clothes from other cartoons.

TomDay said:

I have shown Roger from American Dad which dwarfs anything you've posted. You have shown zero proof that it's not common and have ignored the fact that a lot of anime characters where the same clothes over and over.

TomDay said:
you only showed two examples of hair in that show.
Here are more and these go for both clothes and hair.

TomDay said:
you only showed 4 examples of that show.
4 is good enough but here is one more anyway

Tomday said:

Those were specifically for hair not clothes although for Archer there were 3 examples of different clothes. Both Regular show and Roger for American Dad completely dwarfed all your examples.

TomDay said:

Here are more examples.

Far more anime is released on a yearly basis than western cartoons and you have curtailed the amount of examples for cartoons by restricting an entire genre of cartoons (superhero cartoons). You have demonstrated in no way that fashion doesn't exist in cartoons and I have proven you wrong.

[quote=TomDay]and even for those fashion changes, they are still missing a realmism point that anime provides (ON THE NORM. MAYBE CARTOONS DOES THIS BUT NOT A LOT OF THEM).[/quote[ It seems like you are nitpicking here because I proved you wrong.

TomDay said:

In my pics there are clear examples of space between clothes and the clothes in your example look tight. By the way I having been showing examples from the actual shows while with your example it seems like promo art since that anime hasn't even been released yet. Clothes in promo art aren't always an accurate depiction of what will be worn in the actual show.

TomDay said:
>steven universe does not have lips as prominent as DC/Marvel.
Amethyst, Rose Quartz and Garnet have prominent lips.

TomDay said:
>again, not going on the CGI track again. both have their fair shares of facial features.
You only provided one anime CGI female character with lips and a nose while I showed you multiple examples where those features are missing.

Tomday said:
>monster high has girls with tons of makup therefore making lipstick therefore making their lips prominent. anime does that as well so that point isn't so good. same for ever after high.
As I told you before a character must have lips in the first place in order to have lipstick on said lips. Anime generally does that sparsely from anime to anime. You might only see like one or two female characters once in a while with lipstick from show to show. In both Monster High and Ever After High ALL the female characters have it. In the anime Gate you have a few that have it and even then sometimes it's just a bottom lip and there are a lot that don't have them.

TomDay said:

...why on earth did you pick a genre dedicated to the sex drive? of course there would be anything like that in there. but with CHILDREN CARTOONS you get half-nude girls. that's the real problem there.
DC animated movies are generally for teens and young adults not children and superhero cartoons are generally for all audiences.Only a superhero cartoon like Teen Titans Go would be to mainly targeted to kids. The female characters in all of them are not as exposed as ecchi female anime character.

Tomday said:
i said nothing about her and her boobs.
You implied by that choosing that figurine as one of your examples.

Tomday said:

Tell that to anime where an adult female character who isn't a loli tends to have big boobs and even some young teens in highschool. Hell in Eiken even lolis have huge boobs. DC girls (in the cartoons) never have boobs as ridiculously big as what you get in anime. The boobs in DC cartoons are generally nicely proportionate and perfect. Not too big and not too small.

Tomday said:
moreover, you say she doesn't look slutty with boobs showing, but you included this gif which shows no skin at all but you still used that as an example.
Powergirl's boobs aren't bouncing up and down, left to right and even though they have some good size aren't as super huge as that anime girl's boobs.

yeah, it is turning into a pretty nasty thread.

so i'm only going to make this even shorter.

DrGeroCreation said:

doesn't change that it's getting off topic.

Miss Martian was in the clothes department as well with lips.

yes, very sorry. i was about to edit my post and bring the aliens in as well but you replied already.

So why are you limiting cartoons but not anime? Slice and life anime and romcoms do that so why not restrict them?

i posted HXH'11 as well. and k and one piece and zankyou no terror.

You implied by that choosing that figurine as one of your examples.

no, i said she walks around in a bathing suit 100% of the time. the rest are boobalicious.

all the rest is basically dedicated to the fashion, and not really about the topic at hand. if i lead off the subject then i must put it back on. since i do not list the anime on my list i have about lips and noses, i will have to take a break from this and develop one. i already have around 5 on my list but there needs to be more.

the literal point of this thread is not to prove that anime always or even often has lips and noses, but that it is not rare. or perhaps my point is that.

in addition, the crabbing in this thread will eventually gain attention and be locked, so i'm leaving this thread as it is. if i made a thread about facial features, then i can make one about fashion (and other miscellaneous things like that) in another one, then we can cat-fight to any type of degree there :P

this isn't a rat jumping off a ship. it's simply a rat transferring ships. therefore, i will reply to you as i have before, but in a different road that is more acceptable. i just have to find the right place to put the thread in (heck, you make the thread if you know where to put it).

Kamichama Karin and Kanon 2002. XD They might have the worst animation in history of "cute" anime. :( The sources they are adapted from look far better so we're under the impression the studios simply did not give a f*ck.
