Despite what she says, it's obvious, especially to Kirin, that Ryou misses her mother. It was a little rude of Kirin to read that letter, though I'm going to partly blame Kirin's mother for fanning the flames of curiosity regarding what Ryou's parents do...Kirin, I'm fairly sure what you're thinking is wrong...

Apparently Shiina passed her exam...it took a lot of effort for the jealous Kirin to congratulate her :) Hopefully all that luck rubs off on Ryou and Kirin!
