A very late answer, but in the eventuality that you never got an answer, here I am! They weren't shocked because of him drinking her sake di per se... it's because she had already put her lips on the cup so that was like an indirect kiss! So it was meant to depict an embarrassing moment as he realised late what he had just done! Hope that helps! :)

I like the sweet moments between Nanami & Tomoe. It's nice to see it's Tomoe's turn to fall for Nanami.

So, that's the reason why Mikage did all of this. I thought it was because of Nanami being Yukiji's reincarnation. By the way, there's still no explanation why she possessed the eye. I guess the show will never explain why.

Tomoe finally admitted to himself he has feelings for Nanami, but he doesn't know what to do with that info quite yet lol
