Regardless, how does 12 episodes make things better; they're likely not going to pace it slow or normal at all now.

90 chapters in ~24 episodes could definitely work if the meaningful details are managed correctly and the rather insignificant ones are omitted.

Welp, we can only cross our fingers and hope now. Fortunately, the first OVA was pretty solid/good, so we have that going for us.

Again 36 - 48 episodes would be the ideal.
