Oh well, funimation grabbed some series I'd like to see. Guess is back to subs this time. Still, I don't understand why those series airing in funi and CR only have don't air in Latin America in CR. If they are doing Spain and Portugal, translating wouldn't be a problem. |

It's most likely because for some reason they are not able to get the rights to stream those series in those regions. The availability of language translations doesn't guarantee that kind of thing. For instance, people in the USA can't watch English-subbed episodes on Madman, a site region-locked for Australia and New Zealand, and people in Canada can't watch English-subbed episodes that are region-locked to the USA. It's down to the companies that do licensing for online streaming in a given country - if CR can't get the rights from them, then that's that. |

Or could it be Parasyte is the first one? Unless someone else is planning on Simulcasting it too, of course, but I haven't seen anything like that. Animax Asia is available in Southeast Asia. If you are not in that region then you can't watch stuff on there. Chances are that the series will be available in other places on different sites, which will be announced closer to the airing date. |

FUNimation will most likely buy ALL rights to a show to get more viewers to its site. Then again, I don't see why CR wouldn't buy all rights, unless they do but somehow FUNi still gets it. |
