| i'd undo a lot of the unkindness younger me inflicted on others, whether they deserved it or not. while it served as lessons to get to where i'm at now, i also don't believe having people worse off because of something i said or did benefits anyone. especially when simply killing them with kindness would have ended up with a more worthwhile outcome. sometimes reacting calmly to something and being the voice of reason while extending sympathy is all someone needs to change, so long as they can be honest with themselves. if they couldn't be honest, i had no place being in their lives in the first place. i wish younger me didn't feel the need to fight everyone and everything. that said, i don't waste my energy worrying about the past too much, but for the sake of the question i'll go with that what was your first ever job? |

| I think it's important to balance both sentiments. They are a unique person, with life experiences that matter and make them one of a kind, but so is everyone else. In this way, you can teach a child empathy and keep their self-confidence without it becoming obscene ego. a lot of people later in life struggle to keep their fellow man in mind, so early reinforcement of it is important. sq |

| ^^I'm rather leaning towards "not special", but it may be biased since I was always told by my mum how a special kid I was. It puts a lot of unnecessary pressure, and just wait until you find out you're completely average, and have no special traits that differentiate you from others. It's great to appreciate your child from time to time and try to build their confidence, but if you overdo it, it may give the opposite result. ^English If your friend had an opinion that was going completely against your beliefs, and insisted you change your mind, would you do it (or at least pretend) for the sake of the friendship, or stay firmly with your beliefs risking it may potentially frustrate them? |

| I hold my beliefs pretty strongly. depending on the disagreement and/or the temperment of my friend, the result could range from not bringing up the topic again to completely disconnecting as people and not speaking again. sq |
