| Bakugou: I was about to not put here in this thread, since he seems to be hates too, but I will do it anyway. He's way too obnoxious and loud for me to like. Fangirls may argue he's hot, but honestly, I find him average at best, and ugly as hell as worst (then again, I don't find Horikoshi's art style to be particularly attractive neither for males and females, so...). Horikoshi also seems to think that having him being rude and screaming autistically "SHINEEEEEEEEEEE!" is peak comedy, but, for, me, it just makes him more unbearable. Albedo: Her Ainz's fangirl side gets annoying very quickly (though in this case, it's understandable, since Ainz made her thirst for him), and she has no presence aside from the first episodes. It makes me surprised how she has so many favorites in MAL when she barely appears and the other Floor Guardians like Demiurge or Cocytus are more interesting. I blame Yandere lovers. Astolfo and Felix: Gag characters that are made to have jokes at the expense of their androgyny and make otakus lusts for them, as well as create unfunny memes of the likes of “tRaPs ArE nOt GhEy”. I will give Astolfo some credit, since he actually had a role in the series and helped in the final battle, but Felix is just there and only exists for people to say “Felix is muh waifu”. Probably the biggest waste of Yui Horie’s talent in her long career. Erza: I liked her at the beginning, but after Edolas arc, she became a walking asspull who always wins her battles with the most ridiculous and stupid plot conveniences Mashima pulls from the tip of his anus. Any good thing a story arc may have, Erza kills it with her stupid battles and preachy attitude. Not even Natsu is that obnoxious, and that considering he's the loudest character from the series. Deku: I don’t hate him, but he’s still far from being one of the best shounen protagonists ever made, like some claim. I also dislike how the author made him suck Bakugou’s explosive penis after all he suffered at his hands. Like, I understand Deku is a nice guy, and I don’t want him to violently murder Bakugou or to turn into an edgelord like some want or depict in fan arts, but, man, he’s the same guy who bullied you in your childhood, its fine if you admire an aspect from him or anything, but don’t wank him so shamelessly, have some dignity. Karma Akabane: The author tried hard to made him cool and badass, but all those attempts to make the character awesome made me hate him a lot. He looked more like a brat trying to be edgy than a genuinely cool character. His facial expressions and voice also annoyed the hell out of me. Megumin and Chika: While I don’t hate them per se, both are unfunny memegals with an equally obnoxious fanbase behind them. I despised Chika’s memedance that was spammed to all the confines of Earth back during this Winter season, and Megumin’s fans that love to spam “EkUsUpUrOsIoooooooooooooN, so funny xD” made me dislike the character (or more the one-trick-pony gimmick she has) a bit (then again, KonoSuba’s memes are mediocre, though the series itself is pretty funny). Again, I don’t hate them, but they are far from being the best girls from their series. The whole harem from Shield Hero: Raphtalia is boring and has the personality of a wood plank; Filo is loud and obnoxious; and Melty is just there, probably because the author needed another girl for the harem, I guess. Nothing more to say. Road Kamelot: The fandom seems to love her a lot. It is fine, we all have our likings, I’m not judging. In my case, I find her irritating and obnoxiously arrogant, and I dislike the fact that she always gets away with her actions due the nature of her powers, though that may change after While I really like the Earl, the Noah, and their concept, I just don’t like her much. I’ll admit her abilities are neat. Her voice in Hallow was also awful. Yuu Kanda: I don’t really dislike him, I just find him very boring. Just like Bakugou, he’s the typical “edgy” rival to the nice main character that the fandom (well, the fangirls, let’s not kid ourselves) loves (he’s 1000000 times more tolerable than Bakugou, however), he’s always angry, his attempts at comedy with Allen are honestly dull and predictable, and he didn’t even felt like a main character until he started to hoard all the screentime for himself after the Black Order Invasion arc, while other main characters (except for Lenalee, though she still lost relevance) got sidelined hard. Out of the four main characters, he’s by far the one I like the less. He has improved in the current arc of the manga, but after three arcs in which him and Allen where the only relevant protagonists (one of them having his past as the main focus) I had enough of him for a while, especially since the ones who were closer to Allen for the majority of the series haven’t appeared in years. Of course, since the manga updates so slowly, it feels like if centuries have passed since he has appeared, so... |
