| Mc-kun remembered again... It would be a good idea to increase your intelligence. Meanwhile, mc-kun plunged his dagger into the cuirass... It didn't penetrate! What a surprise... To poke at the joints of the armour or the slit in the visor... No, why? He could have been farming dailies for a few years, come back to the same place with 10 times the stats and wiped out all the locals with half a kick. But no. I've also noticed that there's a strange distribution here. To fight a knight you need strength, to fight an archer you need agility, to fight a mage you need intelligence? Excuse me? Usually in RPGs you have something like rock/paper/scissors. The mage can break through the knight's defences, but catches the archer's arrow and dies, the knight blocks the arrows and chops the archer up, etc. And here you have to use the same stat that your opponent is good at... Mages with magic? What? And knights just by force? Very strange. Usually in RPGs, a knight has physical armour and defence. In fact, in fallen armour, it is the resistance to physical attack. Strength increases physical attack. Vigilance. Magic. Use the classics. Fireball! The knight is happily crushed in his armour. Fire damage, not physical, the knight has no resistance, the knight dies. No doubt, defences and resistances can be overcome. But that's ogre logic. You hit, didn't work, you need to hit harder. You need more power. You know, the idea is that guys with shields and armour are good against archers. And all that dodging works as long as the archer is one and you are looking at him, but if they shooting from different angles, it's not that easy to dodge. That's why they made armour and shields and physical damage absorption. It's usually tied to strength and stamina. Not agility. Tying defence to agility comes from DnD. And yes, there it's often more advantageous to be more agile and wear rags than to have a shield and armour. But that's DnD. Many other RPGs don't suffer from this. |

| Jin Woo’s at Lv 47. Damn, those unlimited waves of enemies are giving him delusions to break his mental strength. Dude almost died but got saved by getting a penalty for missing the daily quest 🤣🤣🤣. After 4 hours of surviving in the penalty quest, he returns back to that dungeon with unlimited knights. His job is now necromancer, interesting. His bonus points made him reach the class threshold and immediately advanced from necromancer to shadow monarch. He extracted the shadow of Igris too, who’s at Lv 7. That’s a cool finale. Whatever’s happening on Jeju island, let’s see what our guy does there. |
