| I've been planning to re-read the routes, but I just want to see how the anime does and try to keep meticulous comparisons from the discussion, and I've been kinda busy lately. We'll probably get something around next Friday or Saturday, or maybe within the next few days. They should be putting up something 1 or 2 weeks in advance. I'm just glad there's going to be some new OST. If nothing else, we'll have some nice new tracks to listen to, and those will definitely come in use for the Rin and Refrain routes to show contrast from the rest of the story and increase the seriousness. |

She's mindbroken in Refrain, and the strengthening and relationships with each heroine were more developed with Riki/the VN player,looking gets the spotlight after the failed saving attempt and is looling for all the heroines. Her development got kinda blown over, and Rin being Kyousuke's sister added a lot of impact to me, more for sympathy for Kyousuke (and Riki) rather than Rin. Idk, maybe they'll write a good true route heroine in the Angel Beats remake, or in another VN if Key continues to write after that. |

| first of all, pancake party pretty much confirmed for first episode. second of all wtf are they all celebrating about? they lost the game scene at 00:05 - 00:06, looked like a serious talk in the club room. what could that all be about? where is riki in the scene at 00:09? is that the piano room? and finally, the animation looks exactly the same as season 1. like.. exactly the same |

| As long as the animation doesn't go to episode 7's level of animation , the story should be able to carry it.. I hope.. That piano scene might be the last episode of Kurugaya's route after the world resets. |

| I wasn't expecting it to improve much overall, but I was HOPING that would happen. The scene screenplay at least seems better, and they figured out how to use different colors. The facial expressions are much better drawn at least, but the animation is still cheap and simple. I doubt most people will take it as seriously as the VN players, same as season 1. "Hurr durr world is fake, everyone dies, everyone comes back, best Key asspull" will be what people will say at this rate if it's not taken more seriously. Well, they could carry it with better directing and closeup facial expression + good music directing, maybe if the assistant director realizes "It might be a good idea to play a serious song during a serious scene, a sad song during a sad scene, etc." and tells that to the music director. |

| Nah bro, it's not TOTALLY plagiarized from Angel Beats. The farewells are clearly taken from Angel Beats, yes, but the Little "BUSTERS", the final scene and the magical feel are clearly a knockoff of AnoHana and their unique group of childhood friends, the Super Peace Busters. I dunno, if there is a lot more Key animation than what we've seen once the story progresses, like if the animation steps up again when the Refrain arc starts or something, it could be fine. I'm not predicting a top anime or anything though. I also LOVE how we have the story's integrity AND the animation to have anxiety about from JC Staff. Gotta love changing successful source material. |

| It's bad, but I don't think it's (much?) worse than Golden Time That PV for Golden Time is completely full of stills and slideshows with characters not even moving. They both look bad though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-G8BTGGXx4k It looks pretty damn unexciting, and full of closeups and slideshows for most of the PV, with a few bits of animation towards the end, and even that animation is mostly head movement. There's more budget in the Railgun S fillers than in either the LB or Golden Time PVs so far, when that garbage does not deserve it. |

| Well, if there's anything good to have come out of the LB anime, it was that it got me to play the visual novel. I honestly don't even feel like watching Refrain at this point. At least now that my hype level went down (read: killed) I can focus on my college work. I don't think I will last wasting time to watch this each week, since it's annoying to download anime on campus, but maybe I'll stick around just to critique the adaptation or something, or my nostalgia and hype from my friends who are watching it might pull me back in. I'm more hyped for several other anime than I am for Refrain now. It's just not going to be enjoyable when mainly the VN players are the ones taking it seriously like last season. And lold, if there's no more common route and they're JUST doing Kurugaya->Rin->Refrain, that's not going to go well at all. 26 episodes of drama with the few comedy bits from LoveLove Hunters and maybe the parts they'll include from Rin and Refrain. Kurugaya's my favorite, but I'd rather she get 4 eps with some common route before it, than 6 eps. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I need to get out of here while I still can. I'm starting to feel like an idiot for hyping up the anime for people in the first place. |
