| I find myself rewatching this anime all the time. starts off slow but def worth it |

| Took me a few days but I finally started one of my spooky shows for October this year, decided to go with this one because it’s an old school show and I know someone that loves it, so here I am lol. And this was a pretty interesting start, definitely got the Higurashi vibes from the countryside village setting and weird things happening, but you know what Higurashi doesn’t have? A big ass castle lol, yeah that’s kinda weird but I’m sure it will not simply be in the background for long, whoever lives there must be some rich ass folks. I like the characters so far too, we didn’t really get much on them but we got quite a bit of Megumi, she was pretty cute and had some fun moments, but she fucking died lol, yeah that sounds about right, but at the same time I feel like she might not stay dead, we shall see. We also have Yuuki who’s probably the main character, I mean look at this cool mf, he’s got MC written all over him lol, looks like the doctor is gonna be pretty relevant too, he seems cool as well. Also, it’s sad to see this is the last full show Daume made, they made one of my favorite anime “Please Twins”, but at least it looks like they made something awesome as their final show. Also wow, this was from Summer 2010, I can’t believe this is at the same time Highschool of the Dead aired, these folks were in for a wild season at the time lol, and that was actually the show I watched for spooky month back in 2019, good times. And the OP and ED are both very good, very old school anime in both the songs and visuals, I think they’re gonna grow on me big time as the show progresses. |
