This episode showed Melt from a new side, he put a lot of efforts and impressed everyone in that theater.
This is a visible growth, evolution of a character, its peak.

I knew doga kobo were insane, but they really went so hard for something out of the CGDCT they mastered for year, wow.

Woooow, Melt's character development in these few episodes have been amazing. I love how he's such a ridiculed character and here we can see the effort to improve. ANIMATION WENT CRAZY THO

This has been the best episode thus far. So much pay out for Melt's character development and they matched it with the animation. Storytelling at its finest.

I was worried for a bit that the stage play would only be half an episode at maximum. I'm so glad that it's longer to really showcase everyone's hard work, as well as going all out to actually showcase what a stage play is, rather than just speaking on it using nebulous concepts and flowery prose.

Way to go Melt! Also appreciate how the animation studio did so well in projecting their play. I feel like I'm really part of the audience. Kuddos!

I love Melt Narushima. I really enjoyed the orignal manga chapters, but the anime adaptation actually brought me to tears. I love Melt Narushima.
I have read 2 perfect chapters of manga; They are Usogui Chapter 203 and Onani Master Kurosawa Chapter 23.
Slam Dunk Chapters 272 to 276 are a perfect stretch of manga.

I'm so impressed with the time they invested to build a framework that would support their wordless, free-form sakuga to convey years of a life culminating. Beautiful and expressive work.

Doing a re-watch right now to refresh my memory a bit before the third season comes out and man... I completely forgot about the absolutely INSANE glow up they gave to Melt this season! I always remembered this season being really, really good but wow this is even better than what I remember!

Damn, the animation and BGM during Melt's arc was so damn good. They spent every single frinkin penny on using colours. I am watching it after Dandadan, but I think Doga Kobo (pardon the name, if it's incorrect) used so many colours way before DanDaDan.

Show became Melt no Ko, wtf no way they put so much quality into a side a character. That imagery was just peak animation.

This 25-minute episode felt like a 5-minute episode! The burst of colors! The action-packed scenes. The first five minutes of the episode may be similar to the first episode of this arc, but it gets the attention of the viewers. It drags the eyes of the viewers to the screen. As a viewer, I felt as if I myself am watching the stage play. I don't remember the arc being this exciting in the manga. The anime adaptation is stellar! It's a visual spectacle on this episode alone! Aqua and Kana giving Melt some good advice helps him improve. Also, Melt's rivalry with Sakuya is smoothened out. Melt's hands grabbing so tightly on his sword that his hands turned rough totally reminds me of Tanjiro from Demon Slayer.

Absolutely stunning performance. This show's biggest strength is leaning into all of these' characters individual psychologies, what makes them weak and what makes them strong. beautiful, beautiful episode. ;-;

The episode made me realise how well the showrunners have managed to flesh out each and every character in their own regard. Truly an entertaining and emotionally-packed episode

What an incredible piece of animation. I was literally crying from how perfectly that scene depicts the blood, sweat and tears that someone puts into their work. I am soo impressed.The animation was already some of my favorite work so far but this scene fully just takes the cake.I’m so happy to be a human who can experience this level of talent so directly! This is what I watch anime for.
