| I'd always seen posters for this anime online, but I hadn't checked it out until now. The anime is surprisingly beautiful right from the start, with great art style. The fact that the story takes place in China adds a novelty factor, as it's somewhat rare. And finally, it's a mystery anime, a genre I really enjoy, and it had been a while since I'd seen one of that type. Maomao is adorable, and I like her way of thinking. I know it might seem like she knows too much, but I personally understand that she's good at connecting the dots, which is why she seems so knowledgeable. I've already started the second season, and it's just as good as the first. |
