By "looking for action" they meant that what's actually there is incredibly good by the current standard of action scenes, not that the show is pure action. They said that the show isn't for VN readers, and note that 2 out of the 3 reviewers ARE VN readers, because Anime-onlies wouldn't be as irritated by the changes or the underwhelming aspects of the show as the VN readers will be. They're the ones who realize how big and numerous the missed opportunities actually are in this show. And come on, ufoUBW has more consistent animation fluidity than 95% of animes out there. |
