| I don't think I posted in this thread.... Anime: Manga: These are from September, I've added and removed a good amount of stuff (mostly added for manga, done both for anime). I like to take pics every 6 months or so (or after xmas/bday and after a major con to see how my stuff had changed since I do tend to sell off stuff I don't want). Also, I will break all these links when I get new pics, I like to keep the old pics around for my viewing only ;) But I will update with a new post whenever that may occur (March maybe? Soon I hope) |

If you didn't see the cleanup video (which I wouldn't blame you since Youtube now makes video responses less obvious) you'd see they already store fairly well, even though there's still room for improvement. Basically, my DVDs are normally stored double or triple layered so they never show up well on camera, whether a video or a simple picture. So, I "unpacked" as much as I could for a single video that could show the entire collection. Naturally, I had to put it all back, but I recorded myself, sped it up, and played Yakety Sax in the background. Sometime since then, I did replace the desk with the tallest piles with shelves. (Didn't think I'd find the video so easily!) A lot of the piles have either been reduced in size or completely eliminated. If I could fit more shelves that would be awesome! Anyway, the ultimate storing / displaying of the anime DVDs will wait until I get my own place, whenever that will be. (Target date for that might still be late December 2011.) EDIT: I, I, I... too much me. Bleh. Brigadoon definitely is a very nice (and obscure) title to have, btw. :) |
| ^lol, i see what you mean, I do the same thing with my manga and anime with double shelf stacking. I don't have nearly as much, but I've certainly got a shelf space issue (you can look at my profile for my January pics, but since I've added something like 50 manga, I plan to take new ones this weekend. Obviously, adding 50 manga to shelves that already have space problems sucked). I'm just assuming it's the sort of set up where no normal human being could guess what's on the back shelves. You sure as hell can't tell with my manga. |

The rest of the series I've seen have been downloaded, but once I was done with them I had to delete them. Now that I have a lot more space, I plan to ramp up my collection with as much as possible. As for a physical collection, I only own Akira, all of Initial D, half of the seasons of PoT, and Trigun. All original Japanese DVDs, I don't do NA stuff or any manga. |

I would say I have watched around 90% but I keep buying so I don't think I will every catch totally up on my back log. |
