Needs more deaths :D, did Wave even do anything this whole series^^?.

Not much to say, this series was basically killed from episode 20 onward.

Wave is completely pointless in this travesty of an adaptation.

Akame vs Kurome was cool. I was not actually disappointed with how they managed to do this. Wave and Tatsumi was expected to come at the right time as always. Kurome will be remembered. Akame letting her sadness out after that duel.

The Emperor's Imperial Arms looks so ridiculous as shit. Sigh ...

Lol, Esdeath still wants Tatsumi.

Kurome vs Akame!
Wave appears and so does Tatsumi, but Kurome falls. (T_T)
It was a great death, actually.

I just hope the manga doesn't follow the anime's ending with the giant mech Teigu.
That would suck a lot.
I’m always searching for something, for someone. This feeling has possessed me I think, from that day… That day when the stars came falling.

Episode that brings with it a narrative that when viewed over again, would raise a lot of the hype.
Usable and quite addictive confrontation, I would not say enough plot predictable, but the mega robot is a déjà vu seen and reviewed.
Too bad!
The drawings are not the best, but at least the animations were not despicable.
I hope that everything we're seeing now, things are only invented, or else are anticipating events not yet happened, is everything I would give a little bothersome.
I hope they close in beauty, a beautiful carnage of state power.
Who knows the blond, what will soon.

Maybe her trump card will be revealed? meh I'm just basing this off of the opening cinematic. In any case I want to see more out of Akame in these last 2 episodes.

HAH HAH HAH HAH. Yeah, no. I mean what the fuck? The ultimate teigu is THE MEGAZORD?! What next, Night Raid's gonna get the Gurren Laggan and start throwing galaxies at the Prime Minister, who eats so much pizza that he turns into the a Gundum which fuses with the Megazord to form Ultra-Super-Mega-Megazord. Then Tatsumi uses his "FIST OF COURAGE" to destroy the Ultra-Super-Mega-Megazord which then explodes and destroys the entire universe, and to save the universe Tatsumi has to play a card game with the Mininster and then he brings his friends back from the dead by using the power of friendship.

...Well at this point I could probably believe that.

And what's up with people who think that every single person who didn't read the manga does automatically like the anime? Stop being so simple-minded ffs.

Plot holes, villains who are villains for the sake of being villains, generic dialogue, drastic changes in tone(this episode was good in this department though), predictable deaths and ridiculous behavior from some characters(e.g. Najenda in this episode who cares less about Lubbock, a character she knows longer than Susanoo, than about Susanoo) are negatives which come just from the top off my head.. And I'm not even talking about the fact that this was an anime which stayed true to the source material until episode 20 or so.. Either you adapt the source material without changes or you make a completely new story.

The title already spoiled it but anyway...Another dead (not surprised). At least Kurome didn't suffer any more because of Akame. And it looks like the last two episodes will be Night Raid vs. the Emperor and his Imperial Arm/Teigu.

so they just cramped a bit of ran's story into the episode when at this point it basically doesn't even matter.

akame vs kurome was decent but that random ass danger beast had no place to be there.

wtf is up with the ending. i mean i am a sucker for giant mechs but this just feels like they had no idea what to do so just decided to throw in a giant imperial arms in.

wave's and tatsumi's imperial arms fusing into a giant mecha incoming. if you go the bullshit route atleast make it so stupid it is entertaining.

This show kind of reminds me of Brynhildr. Both started out pretty mediocre and turned terrible after a short while just to finish the whole thing with a filler ending.

This is my take, too. Both this and Brynhildr seemed to have a lot of potential... both started out kinda meh... and then about 2/3 of the way, decided to ditch the mediocrity and run completely off the rails.

It was supposed to force a moment where the sisters fought together again and share a final bonding moment, re living out their old days. This type of situation is not uncommon among rivalry types during or slightly before their final encounter in the battle anime genre and sometimes pretty nostalgic when both parties have well developed backgrounds prior to the scene (especially when there is a family bond rivalry like Akame and Kurome supposedly is). However like a lot things in the series these past few episodes the execution and setup is poor so it makes the whole situation come off as shallow, waste of time. Even "random".

The anime original content is being so silly and ridiculous it's becoming entertaining in its own way, highly curious to see what they gonna do with the shota piloted Teigu Megazord battle. It's gonna be completely nutty.

There was quite a few things that didn't sit all too well with me here, like the rebellion against the empire just seemingly materializing out of nowhere from the same people who last week were cheering on the execution of Tatsumi (a Night Raid member and thus another rebel) makes me wonder where the Empire went wrong. I mean if they knew they would end up splitting from the manga, why not get started a bit early by foreshadowing some growing unease with the commoners? As is it feels kind of like a climax is being forced here. There was also Wave and Tatsumi, who just stood around doing. Why not have Tatsumi fight him again? What good could possibly come from letting him go.

Sayonara Kurome. Akame's screams at the end were pretty intense (not very moe). I didn't quite get the feels during this one but I was also eating at the same time :) I'm interested to see what happens next with Wave. Bro has suffered a lot. The ending is what it is. At the very least, I'm interested to see what happens with Esdeath vs Tatsumi.

Fuck man, I don't care if this anime is getting this amount of hate, I'm super pumped for the last 2 episodes. Although I can't deny the entire setup is silly I couldn't help but absolutely love this anime and look forward to every new episode.

So sad that it's almost over though, but at the same time I can't wait to see the kind of shit that they'll pull on the last 2 episodes.

I mean considering the fight against fucking Bioshock's Big Daddy was the SIDE BATTLE in this episode saying I'm hyped for the final chapters is an understatement. Just please no more character deaths :(

Except for the king, seriously kill that fucker I don't care if he's a kid and manipulated by the talking lard, fucking burn him to the steak or something.

Dear lordy... an episode that is actually somewhat decent from this show??? Well color me surprised. I can now safely say that the anime is better than the manga. The whole series sucked because Mine (sounds like Mr. Mime) was the main love interest. I fucking hate Tsunderes and I hated her. But in the anime she actually got killed off and Akame got closer to being the main girl again. I hope the manga goes the same route. If I will not be disappointed as I have been in the last few episodes prior this one I will raise the score back up.

I am a manga reader and I am actually stil enjoying anime. Loved the akame x tatsumi moment at the end thats wat i hoped would happen after Mine died.

I dont see the problem with the next episode. You guys are like children that like to point and laugh for no reason.

Its obvious from the start Honest has been controlling the king, and everyone is scared for some reason (ultimate teigu duh) , it would make sense that the emperors bloodline has the power to have the ultimate teigu (and a coincidence its a giant armor type like tatsumis) to be honest I would be surprised if the manga didnt end up at this exact point.

Im actually quite interested to see where this is going. The emperor is an immature child whose been controlled his whole life but has this ultimate teigu and now is going to try and prove his authority to the world. Im looking foward to it.

Ok...so pros:

- despite being original content, this is probably the best content they've added so far. A thousand times better than that bullshit fest last week. Fight scene was nice and long too. Comparable to some of the fights from the earlier episodes.

- Actually felt bad for Wave more than Akame, but kind of felt bad for her too.

- Noticed Ran's still alive. Totally forgot since he died forever ago in the manga.

- The images from AgK Zero. Looked really awesome. Showed a lot more than I thought they would. It'll probably be he only animation we ever get of that stuff too.

Cons:

- Najenda's attitude was fucking stupid. Acts all cold and cool in front of everyone then gets sad in her room. There's only 4 of you left. No need to act like tough shit in front of everyone.

- Everyone was over the deaths of their comrades before the OP even started. Like wtf for real?

- That next week episode preview. Really...REALLY? That's what they're going to be fighting? GO GO POWER RANGERS!!!!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, judging from next weeks preview plus title, the kid emperor will be killed. That just leaves 1 episode after that.

Because there is 1 episode left afterwards, I'm going to assume the last episode is going to be killing the prime minister finally, and then they have to fight Esdese to get to him. Since it's the last episode/original ending, they'll probably kill Esdese too.

HOWEVERRRR, given that this is an original ending, I have my fingers crossed that they take an unexpected route with this. And when I say that, I mean perhaps they maybe beat Esdese, and then with the P.M. dead, she has no one to fight for and therefore stops becoming an enemy.

Basically I'm hoping that since they're doing an original ending, and don't really have to give any fucks, they'll somehow end things with an Esdese x Tatsumi ship lol.
