| Hand Shakers has some of the worst character designs I've seen in anime industry. They look so flat and lifeless. I am also not a fan of the designs of The Flowers of Evil. It looks like the characters are in live-action with filters. |

| Anything Jun Maeda and Key. It looks template-ish and overused. Also, Takahiro Yoshimatsu's designs in HxH 2011. It feels too cartoonish and dated for its time in all honesty. | one piece character designs is one of the main reasons I'm not interested in the series despite its popularity. the character designs are mostly ugly af to me and the anatomy of the girl characters is just atrocious. those generic Kirito clone protagonists it just looks they pulled a random japanese kid off the street and put the anime filter on him, they all look the same and have no personality put into their designs I know they are plain to serve as self inserts but I still don't like it haha. Also not a fan in general of that generic cute/moe style from mid 2010s to now it just looks really plain and boring to me, "cute" or "moe" anime designs from the 2000s and 90s are more appealing to me since it has more character and style to it and therefore actually looks cuter to me even if I still don't watch that type of genre much anyway. |
