| If there's one thing this anime does so well, it must be luring the viewer in. It's mysterious in a way that makes you want to watch more. The fact that it also have a distinct aesthetic and vibe to it makes it more appealing. The first episode does an amazing job of setting the scene, introducing the MC, and highlighting the main plot of the show. I'm sure there's more coming, but the first episode already draws the big picture and that's nice. You kind of know what you're signing up for from the very beginning and you can choose to continue or drop it. Now, I can't not talk about MAPPA. The studio has gone all out, that's all I have to say. They nailed the first episode, and it doesn't look like they'll hold back on anything, especially the gory scenes. The colors and the overall theme they chose are excellent in my opinion. It fits the whole aura of the anime and screams melancholy hopelessness. The OSTs are also great, I'm into them already and I'll be waiting for their official release. Well, I don't know if I can't say much about the show itself, but one thing's for sure, this fandom is going crazy over it. I have been a loyal Crunchyroll user for years now and I have never seen a single anime get nearly 170k likes on the first episode within the span of 3 DAYS. This is a first. |

| I enjoyed it, a bit surprise by the cgi tbh especially since it's a new anime expected them to go all out in that regards but the cgi didn't distract me from my enjoyment. As long as the monsters stay 2d I'm fine with this. |

| Well, Denji is one pitiable character, isn't he? This was a good presentation even if it was losing some steam by the end but the Slasher-like mood the show seems to be going on was good. |
