| How does this just keep getting better? I nearly choked up on the graduation speech. I had a hunch at the start of this season and I'm so glad it's coming true. This is transcending into a true coming of age story as Kyotaro continues to tackle his crippling insecurities. I'm finding it especially moving how relatable he's been without becoming an outright self-insert. It's rare to see a character like this transforming for his own sake rather than for the sake of someone else (namely Anna). Her presence & support have been crucial catalysts, to be sure, but ultimately this is about how someone with a massive inferiority complex is discovering his own qualities. |

| This was the possibly the best episode so far, that speech scene where ichikawa's inner self gave him the final push of confidence and him starting to recite his true feeling from the heart in mid speech was simply the best. Also ichikawa looks really good in his new hairstyle. |
| "who's the man?" "tell me you're the man, Ichikawa" "i'm the man." (semiquote) Yeah, jokes aside, he could just have asked her sister to read out loud from the phone the forgotten part of the speech script and write it down, but whatever. Kana admirable in trying her best to bring the piece of paper to the school, but it was predictable in hindsight she would have instead trespassed just to witness his brother turning more and more into a young adult. Also, not gonna lie, if i was him i would have forgotten the document too and would have panicked so hard i would have not been able to think of that kind of solution too. Oh, well, it actually turned out "all's well what ends well" as Yamada told before, but no, it gets even greater... she refused the senpai and he was there to see and listen everything. Second half is even more promising than ever, even if... yeah, i can't imagine at all Ichikawa and Yamada in separate courses, but i would be disappointed too if most of the main supporting cast will be forced somewhere else too. |

| Mini Kyotaro's smug little face is hilarious lmao. Ditching the script to improvise a speech as someone not used to public speaking is already a power move in and of itself, but the way how our dude's speech congratulated his past self for graduating too truly was the extra ingredient to make it hit that much more special. It coming back-to-back with Yamada's semi-direct confession was a nice cherry on top too. Also, gotta recognize newbie-kun's clutch assist. |
