| Great episode but sad for Maine and Dorio :( Cyberpsychosis is one of the aspects of the Cyberpunk universe that I didn't didn't pay too much attention to in the game, but the show does a good job of focusing on it and portrays it in an intriguing way. |

| I've skimmed through the thread and once again, like many times before, I observe how people are spoiled by regurgitated anime melodramas that are going for cheap emotional responses from an audience. 'Gimme characters to attach to!' Like, you need a friend or something? 'If it was 25 episodes I would've felt something.' 25 episodes for what? For another useless summer beach episode? Do you need 25 episodes to absorb a tragedy of Oedipus or Ophelia or Macbeth? I mean, this show's not a Shakespeare for sure, but still, it accomplishes very much with very little. You just need to pay attention. For example Maine got some terrific character development in this episode while very little words were spoken. We've got to know who he was, an ex teenage athlete who just couldn't stop running. Same with main plot points. Trauma Team wasn't alerted because of David's actions but because Tanaka short-circed and was fried along with the jammer for some reason. Could it be netrunner's doing? On a separate note, Lucy saw David's dossier in Tanaka's files and kept it to herself, lied about it after. Could it be David's death sentence she saw there? Like, corpos will hunt him because of his unusual aptitude to cyberware? |
