@DirtyOldGuy I didn't like it too much.It was quite boring.I know there are not any peaks in this episode cuz it's just the tea time with witches which is storytelling but white fox didn't nailed it completely.

@DirtyOldGuy the things is the atmosphere when they talking.It's too dense like episode 3 which really hard to pulled my attention on it.I only like the moment when pride and wrath get introduced.The gluttony only great in first half moment and after that it became dense again.While the satella moment, surprisingly executed really well especially the"lovelovelove".The moment with echidna is really dense and I really hard to pay attention to it.Overall,i was wrong that Subaru design still suck so bad especially his eyes and his "shorter" face.And I think you will probably get a feeling as me after that episode is unsatisfied.This is not the staff mistake.The unsatisfied feeling appear in our mind because we don't actually know what is happening.(Well I don't know what I'm saying,you are LN reader).So basically is like episode 2 but only slightly better.And don't forget the after credits scene.

@DirtyOldGuy no mate that is not the point.If you watched episode 4 from Re zero directed cut.The nose is completely fine.The major problem with his design in this sequel is his hair,face size,eyes and unshaded ear.Maybe most of the budget is used on the appearance of other witches huh?I really hate white fox for taking the role of adapting Re zero.Guess another maximum potential source material is wasted from the hand of white fox.

@DirtyOldGuy I changed my mind after rewatch.Exclude the moment of echidna and the flashback of Subaru,overall I think it's really great episode.I think we should just accept that white fox don't have a "art hand".I'm not sure about the animation though.I really entrust white fox can delivered good animation in part 2.

I can say I just don't care anymore. I stopped watching seasonal anime for 2 years then now I can't deal with an OK animated adaptation.

@DirtyOldGuy I think you shouldn't focus too much on Re zero,just let u and Re zero have personal spaces.It's kinda weird but I make sense if you have a addiction of Re zero.The overhype is a mood that will affect your viewing experience for example when you watching with overhype mood which only suitable for peak moment.But that just my advise if you can't really enjoy this sequel too much.Imo the next episode is gonna ended at "To know hell"

I've briefly checked volume 12 and did not find anything like that till the end of chapter 2 (I think this might be the place where the episode will end; tho it might end a bit earlier too). Where is it supposed to happen ?

@mozgow first I'm based on LN cuz it's the one get adapted so don't misunderstood that part.Tbh it's not actually going to end on the chapter of "To know hell".It's just going to end on the last pages of "loveloveloveme".But I'm just think the "To know hell" is more cooler topic to end the episode.

Next episode probably is going to rush.Cuz the pages between the last episode and the next episode is differs greatly.I mean Wf probably will cut out some minor scenes only cuz I think they rush is not a good thing or just ended the episode with no cliffhanger or maybe Garfiel.

Yes :p

For some reason I "like" being spoiled (for real) so I've spoiled myself a couple of plot points from arcs 5-6. I don't get the feeling of being spoiled when I read stuff without context nor when I don't see the scene/read the scene by myself. To me it justs feels like I learn more about the story.
I wanted to learn more about Re:Zero and understand the different theories out there but I was too lazy to continue reading past what ChickenTranslations had done on another website. To he perfectly honest I've read a good part of the characters pages from the wiki. I also read the IF Oboreru, Kasaneru and I'm halfway through Ayamatsu (seen Echidnut's summary anyway).
