This guy was represented as over the top strength and intelligence, but he really sucked hard since the beginning. He really can be described by generic villain did evil things because he wasn't aware that evil = bad, then realize being not evil = good, then wants to be good. The anime tried to show the parallel between human and the ants in how they treat other species, but it didn't work since human naturally don't kill out every living things just to apply their dominance and we're well aware that there are many unfortunate realities in the society we live in. But these ants just don't care and are just evil without real purpose and only want to apply their dominance. The irony is that they weren't even that more powerful than human anyway since they got rekt by humans in the end. Also, Meruem was supposed to have superior intelligence, yet he couldn't beat a blind child human in a board game. If AI can easily beat the best player in the world in a board game, yet Meruem couldn't, then it just show how he never was superior to human. Then he finally decides he wants to live a peaceful human life? Oh no, evil things was bad afterall isn't it? I laughed hard when they tried to make us feel empathy for them lmao they just really suck since the beginning and then cry out their innocence HAHAHAHA this is so bad I cannot believe it. I had no idea someone could write something this stupid lol. I'm not even a fan of the narrator of this arc but it's takes like these that make me think this arc needed more of it. |

They for sure adapted too much of the narration from the manga to the anime. I don't hate the narrator but I don't particularly like it either. But honestly with so many weird takes I've seen on the entire arc (not only yours lol) I can't help but think that they needed to be spoonfed the entire story. I just find it hilarious when they criticize the narration yet can't even figure out what is even going on without it lmao. |

And yes, as surprising as it sounds, popular shows can be objectively criticized because the popular opinion isn't the only right and valid one. Plus, "bunch of anons"... Well, yeah ? I mean, that's the point of a forum, isn't it ? I can take the criticisms of "anons" when people are harassing others while hidden behind their account but here we are all just discussing anime, what's the harm ? Don't worry, it's not because someone criticized your favorite show on a forum that it is going to affect the show's creator. I mistook some of these people for trolls when they genuinely did not understand what they watched.. lol The funniest critism I think I've seen about HunterXHunter is that characters aren't in every arc and aren't developed all at once.. Like they need to be a show like Pokemon where the main characters travel in a group holding hands to go on a journey.. lol |

Kyochuu Rettou: Horrendous CGI plus horrendous characters. 7. Tenshi no Drop: Lolis, it was disgusting, peeing and farting? 6. Dark Cat: An involuntary comedy, bad animation, no sense, etc. 5. Utsu Musume Sayuri: WTF! 4. Aki no Puzzle: Epilepsia!!!!!! With WTF pictures. 3. Hametsu no Mars: Tremendously stupid story that makes no sense, horrendous animation, It's an insult towards Beethoven. 2. Skelter+Heaven: Vomiting CGI, horrendous art style, another story with no sense. 1. Yosuga no Sora: Harem with a bland character that is a lust machine, an empty story, a sister with a sickly brother complex that ends with the protagonist, this anime casually is based on an Eroge (even though not all are bad, "ef - a tale of memories." is an example). Casuals must have self-insert fantasies with the protagonist. This anime has the fault of: my older sister disgusts me; I hate the gray color; I glad I am not like Mark Zuckerberg because the blue color disgust me a bit; anime may be bad (before hating this horrendous anime I rated very high); Blue Fugates shocked me; Colt Clan shocked me... |

Mahou Shoujo Site -yay let's torture a middle school girl who wants to kill herself for 24 MINUTES!!! Dropped after the first ep, ngl. It was HORRIBLE. I was so angry at it. lol Jungle De Ikou - takes the booby prize for "Worst Magical Girl Idea Ever". Pun intended. Mamotte Lollipop- takes prize for 'Laziest shoujo ever'....my God, it's so bad. Robotech- does this even count? It's like three shows butchered and pasted together. Lord, was it boring. Urusei Yatsura movie: Beautiful Dreamer. Um....I was falling asleep lol Garzey's Wing- EASILY the worst anime in pretty much every aspect compared to the above. Unlike the above, it's gloriously enjoyable for how terrible it is. Top-notch comedy!! :D |
