| The friendship thing makes perfect sense. The En works as an amplifier but it seems if you have a strong enough relationship you can create another bond. With an organization of that size, you would need something like that as not every Shikabane and Priest are going to be friends. |

| I couldn't help but laugh at GAINAX parodying themselves, though. It seemed like kind of a strange situation to insert what appears to be a blatant reference to End of Eva's last scene. |
