The development of these 3 ova's sure topped the development of the 24 episodes of the prequel and boy was this a lovely ending and conclusion to the series!

After watching the original series way back I was really curious if I really know the ending to this. Well Love Hina Again!!!

Pretty satisfying ending for me. At least it has some closure with our MC couple finally being true to themselves. I really love the moment when Naru breaks out of being a tsundere and being honest to her feelings for Keitaro. That lucky bastard!!!

All that magic elements are a real turn off for me. The flying animals are good but magical warehouse/love shack? I rather not. But I'm still curious about their college life and I thought that would be covered here. Oh well after reading the spoiler above I guess I will be sleeping well tonight and not thinking about it in my fan fictions.

Overall I'm giving this an 8/10 since early 2000's animes have a special place in my heart because it's when I first started to become an otaku. :3

That was a really nice ending to it I think. The TV series was a bit hit and miss and I loved the Christmas special, the spring one not so much, this was probably my favourite part even with his weird sister being all over him.

I'm glad Keitaro and Naru got together in the end at least and she professed her feelings for him.

Just read the spoiler and that's good. I'm glad that's what happened. I may read the manga some day, not sure.

This was not funny, nor very cute. Had they spent less time on the random 'comedy' bits and payed more attention to the drama behind Naru's behavior and her later development, I would have enjoyed it more.

I'm in the same boat as Midori-tan. I would have cared more if they spent more time on the real relationship over the rather flat comedy. All I can say for the ending is that I'm happy that a girl was actually chosen and both of their feelings are mutual.

As for the overall series, I am extremely disappointed. This series is the epitome of stupid due to the following:

1) MC defies physics to get into stupid situations regarding sexual harassment of the tenants.
2) MC completely lacks any sort of common sense. He lives in a female dorm. Why the bloody fuck does he never knock, and why the fuck does he constantly wander into the hot springs for the most insignificant of reasons? It's like his bubble only extends so far as the tip of his nose.
3) Heroine constantly hurts MC even though he was clearly not in the wrong.
4) Heroine (and Motoko) refuse to even listen to a single word MC has to say, never even letting him defend himself.
5) Girls fall in love with MC for the stupidest and smallest of reasons, all for the sake of creating a harem.
6) Apparently magic exists in this world solely for plot convenience.

I wasn't expecting anything good going into this series, but I am utterly surprised that people once thought that writing MCs like this was a good idea. Nobody is going to get emotionally invested into idiotic characters like this, and it didn't even do the fan service aspect well for those who were "watching for the plot".

This sequel OVA was mediocre. The fanservice was top-notch, and I like Kanako. But the new art style is worse, especially how shaggy everyone's hair is now.

It was really dumb for Keitarou to immediately leave Tokyo U in the beginning, but even worse Naru BROKE HIS LEG for tangentially embarrassing her with his professions of love in public and then saying hello. She NEVER apologized for this, and then was annoyed that he wasn't going to school. Then she was upset that he took the entire semester off to pursue his career path, when he couldn't attend classes because of said broken leg.

Shinobu was spot on when she said Keitarou wasn't there because of Naru. This girl is beside herself to the point of absurdity. Just how long did she plan to string this guy along in the friendzone.

The final plot piece with the annex was a fun idea, but I honestly found it really boring. I'm glad Naru finally had the balls to confess, but this just took way too long.

Keitarou had so many other better options. Just stick with Kanako. Or Shinobu. Or Motoko. Or Mutsume. Steal away Su from the crown prince. Reunite with Nyoma on her journey to rescue her grandfather. Hell, stay with Moe in the inn's basement. Any one of those girls would treat him far better. They'd have the freaking decency not to send another girl to their own engagement. This bitch gave me a headache after a while, and there just isn't enough "Dere" to overcome that level of "Tsun."

At one point they complain for the umpteenth time that Keitarou isn't being honest or direct enough with his feelings either. I freaking swear. Just how many times does this guy have to say it. He starts out saying he thinks about her all the time. Then he says he wants to spend time with her and get to know her more. Then when he's convinced she's the promise girl, he starts planning out their futures. Then he starts saying he really "likes" her. Then he starts asking her out on dates she fervently declines. He can't win when he says she's pretty, but he can't compliment another girl. She constantly says she wants nothing to do with him, and then complains he's giving another girl attention. Finally he's saying he loves her every other episode. He is NOT the person sending mixed signals here.

But of course girls so often love this dynamic in stories. Prove your love over and over until you win me over. No means yes, unless it actually means no.

6/10.
