| I know a lot of people who have read the source material are going to be very critical of this anime, and they should be, since it's widely considered one of the Top 3 Isekai by many fans. I personally have never read the LN or Manhwa, but I’ve heard from a lot of close friends just how good it is. As for first impressions go of the episode it´s off to a decent start. The beginning feels very similar to Mushoku Tensei. The MC seems intriguing enough to make me want to know more about him and hsi story. Sure, the animation isn’t great, it’s about on par with the average 1 season Isekai we get every year—but I don’t know, I feel like A-CAT might surprise us in one of these episodes. If I had to choose between a mediocre story and bad animation, I’d pick bad animation any day. I know people like myself, who have never read the source material, might have a hard time getting into this anime solely because of the animation, but I’m willing to give it a chance. I mean, I’ve seen appalling animation in shows like The Rising of the Shield Hero S2, Arifureta S1, and Misfit of Demon King Academy S2 Part 2, so this is nothing to me. |

| This is coming from someone who hasn't touched the source material and knows nothing about it, So bear that in mind. I really liked this premiere episode. It had all the makings of a good start. Reminded me a lot of Mushoku Tensei but that's not a bad thing either. I can see the animation complaints, Still frames and camera panning etc. But for what it's worth, I think atleast the story is gonna get conveyed nicely here. Again, We will have to wait and see how this goes but if the rest of the series is like this first episode then I'll enjoy it atleast. Times like this is why it's better to go blind into shows like this because you have zero expectations lol so it's hard to get disappointed. OP is a banged, ED sounded nice too. |

| @Soujirama in terms of High Stake Action on a large scale and World building, it actually is better tbh and the pacing doesn't feel off, although that starts to Dip a little bit later on, but the peaks actually skyrockets it high enough. Although it definitely ain't a better adaptation compared to MT. |

| I remember stumbling upon the trailer before and the quality then was quite unimpressive and after watching the episode, it still is. I haven't read the source material but after looking at some of the artwork, it does seem like they butchered the character designs. As someone who reads a lot of fantasy/isekai/tensei/cultivation/etc, an adaption like this, without good visuals to carry it, I'm expecting very little of. |

| honestly i went in thinking it was doomed but it wasn't as bad as a lot are making out to be. I do still wish it got a better studio as a fan of the manwha at least but it's still alright for me for now at least. I'll have to see how the action scenes turn out too |

| A very nice start. Arthur sure was a cruel king in his previous life, but he was given another chance in this life. Now, he understands what a family is, what parents are, and what love is. It was beautiful to see him experience it for the first time. He's a prodigy and a smart boy. We also saw the magic system of the world. Very Mushoku-Tensei Inspired but it's good. It does its own thing, so no problems on that end. The production could've been better but it's nothing that would make my watching experience bad. It's a very watchable show. Enjoyed the first episode a lot. Can't wait to see where things go from here. Arthur's papa and mama are really sweet. I love them. |

| I watched the human demon lord anime from this same studio and the animation is 100% going to be total ass, expect the worst cgi monster you can imagine. Other than that, the story seems.... unimaginative. I don't know how people go crazy over these cookie cutter manhwas/ web novels |
