Damn, I didn't understand a single thing even if the subs tried to explain it, FeelsBadMan.

I still kinda liked this episode anyways, Nodoka's design is also a 10/10

first 47sec in the anime & u can already tell its Yuri lol

just as boring game as chess & other games like that, computer games are a lot more fun, anime seems good, i was just talking about the game they are playing

Ah yes, fantastic mahjong game, incredible tactics on display, I definitely know what's going on.

Has a little bit of Kaiji vibes with these games, a lot of effects going on for added intensity.

So basically episode 1 is about how the MC clearly says she doesn't want to play mahjong but all the side characters ignore her feelings and force her/blackmail/pressure her into playing it, I'm not gonna watch an anime like that, I hate plots that are basically about side characters not giving a fuck about how the MC feels and make all the choices themselves.
I'm sure everything works out fine because thats what the plots are usually like, shes probably gonna gain some kind of enlightenment and suddenly realize she loves mahjong and forget all about how rude they were.
Not my type of anime and imo it's a bad start of the plot, If they wanted the anime to be about mahjong then they shouldn't have made the main character dislike it and the side characters force her to play it. I'm not going to say It's a bad anime, I'm sure a lot of people are gonna love it but i personally dislike it
