| I started watching anime back when DBZ first started airing.Used to be my favorite show when i was a kid.I didnt really start getting into it though till maybe about a year ago.And now watching anime is one of my favorite things to do.I wouldnt consider myself an otaku though. |

| Sailormoon, Dragonball Z, or Pokemon didn't inspire me to watch it. I knew they were "Japanese Cartoons" later. I didn't learn it was anime untill I researched more about Cardcaptors. It was my fave show, then I learned about "Cardcaptor Sakura". Watched it one summer, I was like 7ish. I adored that show till no end, I would rent them from netflix. After that I watched "Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar," and that's where it all began. Looked up some more online, watched like 2-3 shows. Then quit, then came back a year later to rewatch Cardcaptor Sakura. Got into Full Moon, then I remember Shakugan no Shana. I think around that time I really started looking for titles and getting into them <3 I thank my lovely Sakura though for beginning it. |

| My first anime was Dragonball Z after watching it I started watching Magic knight rayearth and after that Neon Genesis Evangelion and after that I was pretty much hooked. |
| Came across Grendaizer in TV during 90's, when I was like 8-9, loved it, after that they aired SailorMoon, and I loved it, too. And then gradually watched other animes that were aired in TV(Pokemon, Inuyasha, Detective Conan, One Piece, Golden Boy, Escaflowne etc), untill I got PC and could download what I wanted. |
| Well the first anime that ive watched was probably Pokemon or DBZ. My eyes were glued to the tv when i came home from school. But back then, i considered those shows as cartoons like Dexter's Laboratory and Ed, Edd, and Eddy. I didnt really start watching "Anime" until last summer where i stayed home all day and watched gratuitous amounts of anime. I had nothing better to do since i didnt do a sport that season. So if ment by that then i would say Full Metal Alchemist. |

| hmm am not sure how i got into anime, but when i young i had this good channel, "ANX" which showed Grander Musashi, Flame of Recca and then Ruroni Kenshio(Samuri X); one after the other every thursday, But that was like years ago, and i recently watched them all again, so that was probably it. And now my taste has grown alot^_^ x P.S. never watched dragon ball Z, despised it and always will. |

| I saw Pokemon and Spirited Away first, but I didn't know that it was it's own genre. Then one of my pals got hooked on Naruto via Cartoon Network, and it was alllllll downhill from there. At first, I thought it was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen ("The freaking blonde kid is riding a giant frog. Is that supposed to be funny?"), but then I started watching episodes on YouTube. After that I saw Ouran Host and a few more of the big ones. From then on I started looking for ones no many people had heard of. |

| I got lil bits of anime here and there my whole life, from TV and various VHS's. And, when Adult Swim came on I was able to see more, so, I was always kind of a fan, but I didn't realize it. Then I got a Computer with a High-Speed Internet Connection, and it all went down-hill from there XD!!! It was so available, and I started out with some really good series, i.e. Trigun, Inuyasha, Naruto, Bleach, Case Closed, etc., And with each new good series, I'm just that much more addicted....Urahara Out!! |

Then, years later, a year ago to be precise, I started getting into Naruto, then Bleach, then Death Note, and now I pretty much watch anything and everything. I started watching dubs and now I hate them. Subs FTW. |
| Well even though I've watched a few anime before this year, I just really ended up becoming addicted to it from this year. One of my dad's friends lent me a hard drive of anime for me to watch and thats I got addicted and started marathoning alot of anime and using myanimelist to help me see which ones were good, then got addicted to myanimelist! This is going to be a lovely addiction for sure. |

| Hmm~ Well I have always loved cartoons XD (As a kid I was a huge fan of Pokemon) But it really started few years ago when I happened to watch DBZ from tv and got hooked. At that time I had no idea what anime is though. But then it turned out that one of my schoolmates also watched DBZ. She gave me bunch of animes to watch and introduced the world of anime and manga to me. We became good friends after that and nowadays we basically don't talk about anything else than anime, manga or MAL XD |

| Watched Street Fighter II: The Movie with my dad and I decided to find more cartoon similar to the movie and discovered that the movie was actually an Anime, I put 'Anime' in google search and found Cowboy Bebop and The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, watched them both and then became an anime fan. |

| I watched some in high school with friends and was like whatever, but then after I'd been working at Waldenbooks for a while, I read Love Hina vol. 1 on a whim, then after talking to my uncle about it, he gave me some of the fansubbed versions, and boom. Went to Chobits from there, then Kiddy Grade, Scrapped Princess, and then Azumanga Daioh. And Azu really catapulted me into everything else. |

| When I was around six, I watched a few fansubbed episodes of Pokemon on VHS, but I didn't even know it was Japanese, despite the video being dubbed in the goddamn language. Later, I watched the typical crap on Toonami, but G Gundam and Outlaw Star were the only things that interested me, but I never watched more than five episodes of each. After a few years, I watched digisubbed versions of Evangelion and Scrapped Princess, but it still wasn't enough to really hook me in. About a year later, I watch Martian Successor Nadesico and saw space loli and giant robots. Shit was awesome, so I looked for more shows with space loli and giant robots. |
| I've been watching anime since Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, & Tenchi Muyo were on Toonami. It wasn't until I discovered Inuyasha on Adult Swim when I was 12 that I found out it was all Anime. So after that I began watching any anime that was shown on Adult Swim. And it wasn't until Freshman year of High School that I discovered Youtube and the Many Many Animes that were on the Internet. ^-^ |

| My interest for anime first came from playing games with anime themes(Phantasy Star 4, Final Fantasy, shining force) My first anime was Gigantor(which would come on in the morning sci-fi channel cartoons) I also watched a lot of my first anime movies thanks to Sci-fi channel. So I started watching anime when I was 12 and have continued to do so as I find time. |
