This entire arc was super weird. From "lets kidnap this guy and put his friend into prison so surely he will help me" to Hayase randomly taking control of the island. Everyone always dying because of Nokkers in the end gets stale, didnt really feel anything for them honestly.

Atleast Hayase is crazy entertaining.

To think that Hayase is actually a Yandere? Where is that romance tag lmao

I am curious though if Fushi knows what love between the opposite gender means...
but I guess he was creeped out by Hayase... lol and he dump her... literally...
RIP for Hayase tho

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

The one time I wanted someone to die , they don't , I honestly wouldn't have cared if Hayase and Tonari would have both died in that fire.

I hope that the next upcoming arcs won't be as oddly paced as this one. It frustrating to put up with some of these characters on this Island . Also Nokker Hayase gonna be OP next time around.

it's gotten so stale and lame that i even stopped caring about the couple of deaths i actually used to care about.

Oh, so Hayase was just a yandere, that explains everything. She was without doubt the most entertaining character in the anime. She would definitely beat Fushi if he didn't use any dirty tricks or surprise attacks.

How is Fushi a perfect being when he has already killed?

I get "hey look at me, I'm so evil" vibes from Hayase. She's still the most entertaining character currently alive besides Pioran. What did she do to Tonari and the other kid? Also, I don't like this trope of "I can't kill that zombie cuz he was my friend when he wasn't a zombie."

Did the other kid and Oopa not get along? I noticed he only mourned Mia and Uroy.

"These children did nothing wrong." They came back like morons lol.

Is Hayase a zoophile? She fell in love with a bear?

So I guess Hayase's demise came at the hands of one of those Nokker orbs.

Did I enjoy Jananda? Not really.

I am assuming Pioran will pass away next episode judging by the preview.

Hayase being a yandere for Fushi actually made no sense to me and don't serve as an adequate explanation for her actions. Before, it was clear why she was after March, Parona, and Fushi - because they rebelled against the child sacrifice tradition. Now, this idea Hayase fell in love with him is just so stupid, it feels like an afterthought and like this subplot wasn't meant to be in the story in the first place.

It was frustrating that Fushi was so hesitant to kill her when he seemed pretty determined to do so before in the arena. I was just waiting for him to throw her overboard, but I gotta say, him creating a whole ass other boat to get away from her was hilarious and satisfying in its own way.

Right?? Why were all the islanders on board with Hayase's plan? They went from "You're not even from this island!!" to cheering for her bullshit speech in a couple minutes and it made no sense. I don't know why they trusted any of what she said.

Crazy that the best character of the entire Jananda arc was an owl.

Yeah, it's so corny and dumb. Clearly those three weren't themselves anymore; the real children were dead, and there was no reason to hesitate to kill them. Convenient that they didn't just instantly attack like the other Nokkers and just kept standing there so Hayase and Fushi could have that whole melodrama.

She is somehow both a zoophile and a pedophile. And, if you think about it, a necrophile.

There are two kinds of people:

getting quoted on this while watching the second season feels weird in hindsight. Because that one starts even weirder..
Hayase was definitely the real MVP. I prefer crazy girls though so Im biased.

Great storyline but there is something like to much death in a series. Became numb to it after a while

This arc felt meh, Tonari grew on me, but I don't care for anything else. Like, why am I supposed to feel sad for Tonari's friends? They have less dialogue and personality than the kid from the first episode. And Hayase was honestly just annoying and not in a good way.

Finally, this fucking island arc is over, what a shitfest it was, while the episode wasn't bad, it wasn't good either, it was kinda meh but somewhat enjoyable at the same time, this fucking arc disappointed me and removed all the hype I had for this anime, and the crazy psycho bitch is alive and will fuse with the Nocker now, great, we will have an OP psycho bitch now crazy to breed and have your babies Fushi, it's all on you.

One more episode to go to end this, I will probably watch the 2nd season but then again, I somewhat don't care about it either, all my hype is gone due to the shitfest I experienced in this arc.

Whoa, for the first time Fushi's friend didn't die. I'm really surprised. Honestly quite happy about it.

On the other hand, I don't understand why Fushi didn't just kill Hayase right away. When they met at the arena, Fushi angrily said that he would really kill Hayase for killing Parona (and March), and in this episode he finally caught Hayase with his Oniguma form. Well, it's true that Fushi is afraid of killing a human, and I can understand that if the human is innocent... but this is Hayase...? He could at least break her arms or legs to keep her still, or gouge out her eyes like what she did to him when they fought in the arena. I'm sorry but I was so annoyed at Fushi who even helped her too when Tonari pulled her into the fire. Ugh.
