| We’re finally here at the Goku Black arc, or whatever people call this arc idk lol, quite the good start, I’m liking the DBZ vibes with the return of Future Trunks (although his hair is blue now) and we even got Future Bulma again who’s looking like a babe despite whatever age she might be here, and last but not least is Future Mai and hell yes I can finally say she’s hot again lol, I liked her moment with Trunks there, and I was wondering what she hopes to accomplish with that shotgun but it looks like it can fire energy blasts instead of the usual ammunition, it’s just unfortunate what’s stronger doesn’t look as cool as a classic shotgun blast. But just like the last Future Trunks we knew, this one also suffered tragedy before going back with the death of the future versions of both Bulma and Mai, hoping this doesn’t mean we won’t see this version of Mai again in this arc. And back in the present, Goku and Piccolo are farming as Chichi scolds Goten in her usual witch ways (really hate how they did her like this lol), and later we got some more info on Zeno and some more buildup for the upcoming tournament, it’s still a bit far off but I’m liking that they’re planting the seeds of anticipation. And with that we’re in for a long new arc, I’m excited to see a lot of the things I’ve heard about, along with things I might not know. And lastly nice new OP visuals, we’re still in Spring 2016 so no new ED yet but I imagine we get one very soon, also I like that they finally changed the eye catches and the next time music, they really needed to be changed for this arc so I’m glad they did. |
