| Tsugihagi na Kanojo It was initially a pretty sad and heartbreaking manga with male and female lead who are both physically and psychologically damaged. With subtle dialogues and serene atmosphere that clearly show how fragile their situation is. Add to the fact that the initially indifferent male lead actually tries to make sure everything goes right with the female lead till their time runs out, it's also successfully getting me engrossed to their painful struggle and in particular, the male lead's sacrifice (that costs him his life) for the female lead, whom he finally falls for. Then chapter 3 came and BAM! It flips everything 180 degree and shows one of the most forced, inorganical twist i've ever seen. It demonizes the female lead and reveals that she's actually mischievous and just being manipulative toward the already dead male lead. All while showing her sadistic grin and menacing dialogues. Seriously, it destroys every notion of sympathy i had for her and undermines all the build-up drama. Good thing it ends on chapter 3, because this pile of manure doesn't deserve any single respect of mine. |

| Probably the classic "Berserk", it has a good reason though; its take on the "medieval times" are really unique and they aren't ashamed to show anything. If you aren't cringe-vulnerable to this stuff it actually has a fantastic story. |

| hmmm...the most fucked up manga I've read is Jigoku no Kisetsu, its just purely fcked up and at the same time I find it funny because I wonder how did those artist able to come up with these crazy ideas and actually tell a story, and seriously put it on paper with a straight face. Also recently I bought a copy of DDT maruo suehiro, I tell you there's a lot of stuff you don't want to see, so I don't recommend these two to anyone who thinks its real; and never read terrifyingly explicit manga's. If you want to check it out then just think of it as bad imagination. |
