| hi! im not really good at introductions but i will do my best :D Juan is what im being called and no im not spannish, in fact im from the Netherlands. im only just 21 years old and i will turn 22 on the 23th of june. my hobbies are basically about 3 things: anime, music and games. as for anime i watch about annything, but i think i enjoy slice of life the best. i listen to about any kind of music and i dont like the use genres, but i still listen to rock/metal the most. im also learning japanese by myself and i can read/write kana and a small amount of kanji. would be nice if someone else her is also learning japanese so we could help eachother etc :) if there is still something you want to know, feel free to ask. i hope i can make some friends here :) yoroshiku onegaishimasu! |

| Heyo I'm 27 lived in Florida all my life work for the DEP (dept of environmental protection) when I'm not playing outside during work I'm home with my hubby watching anime, reading manga, or... Yeah that's about it... I have other hobbies and such but this consumes alot of my time! Haha.. For real though, I listen to metal, rock, punk, j-pop, visual k, j-rock, ragtime jazz, Dixieland jazz.. I play guitar, bass and keyboards.. I'm into photography, surfing, hiking, kayaking, working out, and Drinking Beer! Yum!! I'm generally told I'm a fun loving dork.. Whatever that means... I've been watching anime since toonami showed DBZ & sailor moon but I got a special place for InuYasha.. Hee.. My new car has only anime stickers and I'm damn proud of it too! Haha I got a rabbit and cat (Kakarot) and am in love with my best friend who I've been with since my junior year of hs.. My love.. Anyways, that's a lot of info I'm sure you don't wanna know about me, but oh well! Cheers |

| @Luna hmmm my fav bands..thats a tough one. I really like folk metal. but I like bands such as Ensiferum, Eluveitie, In Flames, Arch Enemy, Rammstein, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath etc. but I also like japanese metal like SEX MACHINEGUNS and Dragon Guardian. what about yourself :)? atm I'm learning japanese from this educational television program called "Let's Learn Japanese". it got textbooks aswell. but I'm thinking of entering a japanese class this year. |

| @juanji I'm more into symphonic/gothic/power metal, fav bands are Nightwish, Within Temptation, Delain, Sonata Arctica, Lunatica, etc. :) I think we watched one lesson of this "Let's learn japanese" in class but I'm not sure. I'll have to apply for our new class, hopefully we are enough people for it... I can't learn with books only, well, I'm generally a bit unmotivated at the moment :/ |

| @Luna_ some good bands you named there :) ye, "enough people" seems to always be an issue. well you can always start by learning it yourself, it just depends on how determined you are :p but if you're a bit unmotivated right now then just think that the longer you wait the harder it's going to be to start :) |
| @juanji that's the problem, my determination isn't as good as it was at the beginning :s I meet a Japanese friend once a week to have a language exchange, that helps but besides that I should do more... but after you reached a certain point it's hard to find books and exercises that help you. I know other ways to learn but still too lazy at the moment :| |
