I think it has way better dialogue than anime that make the characters go into "thinking" mode, like Code Geass.

In Madoka the only char that actually has some good lines is Kyuubey while FZ has many characters that when they get together you get a good dialogue.

I love SG but I dont believe that it has such good dialogues. They did a good job with the scifi part but the interactions between the chars werent that great at least compared to FZ.

As for Iroha I dont think it is any better than Clannad in the dialouge part. And the fact that none of the dialogues/lines come to my mind doesnt help.
I think that a show that has good dialogues makes you remember them after you complete it.

@OP

Saber? Who's that?

I'm watching a clash and contrast of Kiritsugu and Kotomine. Not to mention, Tohsaka Tokiomi as well.

Oh yeah, they all have women at their leisure and heroic servants as warriors in this war. The spirits are actually well-developed characters too, some honourable mentions would be Diarmuid, ISKANDER and Gilgamesh.

I actually love Saber though, too bad you feel that way. Though, you can still enjoy a show without liking a/the main character imo. I've been doing that with something like Fairy Tail since day one lol.

His favourite shows from the last year according to his profile includes Madoka Magika, Hanasaku Hiroha and Steins Gate, this last one is basically just dialogue and character development, so no, it doesn't seem he's the type of shounen/action.
And what you said is a falacy, ad hominem.

Fact is, Fate Zero dialogue isn't great. Far from it.

Madoka, Hanasaku Hiroha and Steins Gate have better dialogue?Ok.Because last time I checked people thought that Madoka was way too hyped(like FZ),Hiroha was just slice of life dialogue with nice scenery and SG was boring until
(It has good dialogue for the whole scifi part but everything else is just normal.memes and internet slang?Really?).People should stop making bad reviews for shows that they dont like. The same goes for those that like them WAY TOO MUCH.

I just said what I know about him, personally I also find Steins Gate overrated, the second part had potential but became predictable, I rated an 8 maybe 8,5. I don't like Hanasaku Iroha very much since I'm not into Slice of Life animes, Madoka Magika is awesome, though only after the 3rd episode I got interested.

Imo - Madoka > SG > Fate Zero > Hanasku Iroha

And I wasn't comparing the dialogues between the series, I was saying that those series weren't about action.

Very few anime have really great dialogue, it's mostly something melodramatic (like Anohana and Madlax). Fate Zero dialogue doesn't feel natural.
Slice of Life anime usually have nice, simple dialogue, like K-ON and Lucky Star that you don't like, or if you want supernatural but still SoL you have Mushishi. Then there's Monser and FMA that's just stories very well written, where the info they say from the dialogue feels more natural. It's kinda hard to explain, but I think anyone can see it.

Honestly, when I think of fiction with natural dialogue the first thing that comes to mind is stuff like Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, which keeps the inane converations, banter, and small talk between unexpected characters, such as that between two professional hitmen. I've never seen an anime or manga with impressively natural dialogue, and that includes Full Metal Alchemist (7th favorite anime) and Monster (favorite manga). There's definitely anime, such as Saikano, though, with consistently forced dialogue, but Fate/Zero doesn't fall into that bracket.

If I had to compare Fate/Zero's dialogue to another anime's, I'd probably compare it to Death Note's. Fate/Zero's dialogue is much better than that found within FMA Brotherhood, though, if only for the absence of forced humor and the "who are you calling short" running gag, which seemed to be included on a obligatory basis every few episodes. When Fate/Zero did humor, generally through Rider, it actually seemed like something that someone of Rider's personality would actually say.

Agreed with Pulp Fiction, or mostly any Tarentino movie.
Brotherhood gags are different, we shouldn't consider part of the "dialogue", it's just comic relief, mediocre comic relief.
Disagree completely that Fate Zero dialogue is on the same level as Death Note. In DN you can actually hear what some characters are thinking which gives more understanding to the characters, since there are things you think but don't say. FZ never does that, even when it should, like in this last episode Waver talks to himself about Rider, it sounded retarded, he should think to himself not talk. And in FZ it's all about ideals and such, there's barely anything besides that, it gets unbearable sometimes.

The problem with Brotherhood's comic relief is that it interfered with the tone and consistency of dramatic scenes. A character will be involved in a fight to the death before going into chibi mode in response to a mediocore and misplaced joke.

There's nothing weird about talking to yourself. The problem is when you answer back.

That's actually part of why I compared it to Death Note, as most dialogue involves some form of strategic planning. All the same, the lack of small talk felt forgivable enough as the characters were in a constant form of combat. Talking, primarily, about strategic planning and motivations makes sense when your primary focus is on staying alive for the next few hours.

I lol'd to the dude that said that Iri is more annoying than Saber.

Irisviel is one of the best characters of F/Z, her voice is as sexy as her eyes, her devolpment was kinda cruel so yeah.. thats bs.

didn't know Waver is such a master ventriloquist.
The ones he did speak are normal lines people say anyway, well, unless I'm one of the weirdos

I actually found Kyuubey's lines to be one of the most annoying parts of Madoka. Everything else was pretty much awesome, but Kyuubey's entropy nonsense is a prime example of trying too hard. Either make the science parts actually make some sense (hint: he is not using the word entropy correctly, and his explanations show zero knowledge of how thermodynamics actually works) or simplify it so that it does not require pseudo-science.

This is similar to the problems I find with Fate/Zero, although in this case it's existentialism instead of science. The ideals of the characters make sense, but they are neither fundamental nor normal. The best word for it is "contrived." There is nothing grand or universal about what's going on in Fate/Zero because it's so far removed from anything other than the imaginations of the writers themselves (Urobuchi, Nasu).

S;G has much more natural dialogue and interactions than F/Z. Hanasaku Iroha is also much better than Clannad in just about every way. I haven't finished Clannad yet, but so far it's just melodrama, melodrama, melodrama. I can tell that I'm supposed to sympathize, but I find no reason to. It's much worse than Angel Beats! ever was.

I don't think either of them are particularly annoying, but on the sliding scale of annoying-ness, I would have to say that Iri is more annoying than Saber.
