| Brilliant episode. I loved the contrast between the psychological horror surrounding Eva and the tension around Kenzo escaping. I wish we get to meet the geezer in Tunisia later on. |
| After seeing Helene, I realized that almost all the female characters here are really bad. No, they're not badly written, but they're made to look bad. Not that the male characters are better, but at least most of them have power, high positions, important roles, and the like. Even Johan who is the main villain here, who I hope dies in hell, is made very charming. Eva, who is also an "important" character, is made to give a bad impression for the audience to hate her. She's a well-written selfish female character but in the end she is so bad that we all hate her. Lotte too, she's a less important character but also quite bad. That fake Margot Langer granny. The old woman who burned down Schubart's library. The nurse who let Dieter be taken away by his foster father. I think only Nina and the 17-year-old doctor are good and capable female characters here. Even Roberto, who we all hate so much, is a powerful character who continues to influence. I know this might not be important but I just wanted to say it. Anyway, Tenma is not a murderer and has never killed anyone, but he's officially a wanted man now. I wonder who knocked on Eva's door. |
