I honestly don't get all the hate this anime is getting. I thought it was pretty good. Reminded me a bit of my fav anime Bunny Girl Senpai. Hoping season 2 isn't too far away and has a happy ending.

The final fight is nonsense, that guy should just go invisible...
The title is about detective, but it's more to supernatural and action stuff...

What a convenient form of losing his memories but I can't deny the final episode was fine.

Well, it could be worse. 5/10 for the anime.

The anime started out fine and then went downhill really fast. I gave up watching this with 2 episodes to go for months. The ending reminds me of an AC/DC song.....Who Made Who? If you made them and they made you ..... tell me now who made who? 5/10 with no regrets.

It actually turned out to be worse than I expected. Honestly this felt like it was written by a 10 year old who decided to add everything from mechs, mutants, aliens, supernatural etc. in an utterly boring plot that's devoid of logic. There are so many things wrong and nonsensical with this show that I don't even know where to begin.

There is little to no explanation for half of thing that happen. The characters are bland and uninteresting. People magically possess each other through "consciousness" on whim and nobody cares about an alien organization out to destroy mankind apart from the legendary detective and her obnoxious sidekick who was randomly kidnapped to work with her. There was hardly any comedy, mystery or romance.

Honestly, I was so bored by this show that I held off watching the last three episodes until now and even in the end it just felt pointless.

I like the unique chara like Siesta (even its just her codename)..
She reminds me of Kiana from Honkai lol

Well.. overall this anime tried to warn ppl on the real world about the global elites . .

I don't really wish this have a sequel..
But if there is another one, I don't mind to watch it.. just wanted to see can they really "save the humanity" . .

Its kinda confusing but from what I've understood as an anime watcher only, Nagisa is NOT Hel, right?

So Siesta let herself getting killed by Hel and Hel took her heart, but Siesta suppressed Hel's personality and took over her body, but then Siesta took that combined heart away from Hel's body and transplanted it into Nagisa.. is that it? Because it doesn't seem that the current Nagisa can change her appearance at will anymore, so she shouldn't be the original Hel's body.. and it makes more sense that way since she has memories as a child that was bound into hospital until heart transplant. There's no way she is the grown up Hel's body.

Welp, that's actually a rather fucked up plot twist that was never clearly explained but also the point that made my interest in this anime goes up slightly. Anyway, maybe its because I'm binge watching this but I don't think this is as bad as people's been saying... though it does feel very confusing until the last 2 eps.

I like how Siesta is just 2B's lost sister.
I enjoyed it more than I expected. Nothing really stands out but it was a solid show that I think the current score is low. 7/10

All I can really say is "WTF WAS THAT????!!!!"

I've never seen something have such a great 1st ep that actually had me excited to watch more, but then immediately fall off and continue falling off, until finally, thankfully, it was over. I have never watched a show like this, that just made less and less sense the more I watched it. That 1st ep was so good that I kept hanging in there week after week, hoping things would come together and start making sense, but instead each week I felt I was watching a completely different anime until finally I became so fed up and could not take anymore that I stopped watching with 4 eps to go and I've only returned to it now, which was a great decision because I really did not need to waste my time watching this week to week.

I don't know if it's the fault of the adaptation or the source material, but this was an absolute abomination of a trainwreck past the 1st ep, I am truly annoyed that I wasted my time watching it. It truly just got worse and worse with each episode.

So Siesta can switch between her and Nagisa. Siesta is alive inside.

The last episode felt underwhelming. Even cut off Chameleons defeat. But its nice to see the two meet once again.

I really don't have any expectations about this series. I though it was okay. We got some backstory, but it gave more time to Siesta than to Nagisa.

Average series. It has good quality animation and the girls are cute.

There's 2nd season announcement but the first season kept me uninterested for the sequel

As a romance anime it was pretty enjoyable, I think.. Relationships between Kimi and all girls are quite eventful and present many entertaining scenes and dialogs to us.. But also the mystery or action parts at times were a bit hm.. I don't really care about these things myself, it felt as a setting to me personally.. While characters and their relationships the main thing.. In the end, it is bittersweet relationships.. And characters are persons with the different sides in them, who I'm interested to see more of.. As more is going to come out, it seems..

Siesta is best part of the show and the banter and relationship with Kimi was also the most enjoyable.

Didn't really like any parts with Nagisa. Though when he said she had powers she doesn't know about yet and proceeded to talk about emotions and persuading people; NAWWW she has the same powers as Hel and is still an Android alien thing.

Still don't think Siesta is actually human with all those powers and superhuman strength. Also as one of the many personalities still in that body they could pull some goofy shit and bring her back cause they did tease her coming back for a split second for that one comment. Alot of the story was goofy itself so it's possible.

Not sure if I can say it was good good but every part with siesta in it I enjoyed quite a bit.

I have so many conflicting emotions about this anime. From start to finish, I just couldn't make up my mind how I felt. I think we're all familiar with the concept of a mindfuck. If I had to sum up this anime in one word, it would be a "heartfuck."

At basically every point in this anime, I was ambivalent: thinking should I cry, should I be angry, should I dislike this character, should I like them again? And at the end, I think I felt all of those things at once making for quite an interesting yet confusing experience.

In a way, I suppose that's exactly how you're supposed to feel though. This random cute and badass anime girl drops in on you and saves her life. Then she lives with you, treating you like a wallet, and constantly making demands. By the end, you realize you're smitten, and will follow her wherever she goes. But she's gone, replaced by other people who really don't deserve to be compared to her. And yet you can't help but do so. Quite a ballsy thing to do to your titular waifu, for sure...

I'm interested in seeing season 2. But if there is no deus ex machina to bring her back to life, I will rage.

Overall I'd say it started out very strong, but as a package it's a 6/10. Many things I liked, many things could have been better. It feels like Kimi in particular should be more capable or be able to use some of her gadgets at least. And of course, they definitely should have worked out a better reason for the heart transplant to happen. But I like the rest of the characters. Despite no spoken words of love, you can really feel just how important they are to each other. The family scenes with Alicia were precious. I can't bring myself to go lower than a 6.

Besides. This just means we'll get to hear Kimi say, "I love you," the next time Siesta saves him "just this once" in season 2. Can't miss that.

When Siesta used her hand mirror to have Hel's eye magic reflect backwards, Hel stabbed herself in the heart.  To save her life, she planted the seed from the shape-shifting heart of Cerberus (alongside help from her Father "The Seed") into herself.  This gave Hel the ability to shape-shift.  But if you know anything about organ transplants, poor donor organs get rejected.  So she needed to continuously replace her heart.

Added onto this was her original personality of Alicia splitting off into Hel during childhood.  Over time the trauma of switching hearts, and the resultant bits of phantom memory transfer end up creating another rift in her personality.  Particularly after she stole the heart of the mom's young daughter, the memory of love reawakens the original personality Alicia, who is suffering from amnesia.

Over time this new heart ends up needing to be replaced as well, and she realizes she's been switching at night.  After getting kidnapped by her "Father" and patched up with plenty of seeds from other alien thingies, Hel is fit enough for one last showdown with Siesta.  The strain is too much, and so she decides to steal Siesta's super heart (which is also probably an alien tech thing).

Because Siesta's heart is so strong, it creates a similar effect absorbing the daughter's heart had.  This allows Siesta to take advantage of the latest personality splitting and amnesia to create a brand new alter for Hel in Nagisa.  But Siesta continuously devotes effort to keeping awareness of the other alters impossible, lest Nagisa end up the same way Alicia did as she becomes conscious of the other personalities.

So yes.  All four of them are now alters in the same host body, and Nagisa still retains the Cerberus shape-shifting powers, as well as her eye powers (although in her current state she is unaware of the existence of either).  This is why her figure could change into Siesta during the death scene, and why her eyes change color when Siesta takes control.

The hospital memories are an extension of the time she spent in the hospital when she woke up as Nagisa.  They heavily borrow on her feelings and memories as Alicia and Hel (after all her body remembers even if her mind doesn't), which is why she describes the hospital the same way as the lab.  Nagisa even called herself a labrat that was experimented on in the hospital.  It's easier to convince someone of a new reality by adapting what they already know rather than building something 100% new.  Especially if you consider, that Nagisa has Alicia's dreams of being a normal schoolgirl with a loving father figure, Hel's dreams of replacing Siesta as Kimi's life partner, and Siesta's dreams of protecting him.  There's a natural through-line building there if you think about it more in DID terms with some of the typical narrative twists people like to use.

So Nagisa was Hel/Alicia all along, it isn't wrong when Hel said Kimi is her partner in the future. Lol overall a decent show, not great but not bad either. 6/10.

Finally I finished this anime, it really was a boring trainwreck of a show. It's really hard for me to find a single good thing about it, even Siesta fanservice was not that great. I can't believe they'll actually release a 2nd season. 1/10

Coming into this anime, I thought it was going to be a story of a detective who was a ghost still solving mysteries while dead with the help of somebody alive. While the anime didn't turn out to be what I had imagined from the title, the characters of Siesta and Kimi were still good, I liked their dynamic and interactions. However the whole story became a convoluted mess, I could care less about the SPES storyline.

What the whole anime should have been about, using what's there in the anime (not my imagined ghost detective plot), was a semi slice of life of Siesta, Kimi, and Alicia solving mysteries together, helping people, and the characters growing closer together. The anime didn't need any of that android/alien fantastical crap, nor did it really need the action and fight scenes. Siesta could have been just a normal person who's a little "autistic" like she was portrayed to be. I found her personality and quirks so endearing that it carried the show, yet the story makes a colossal mistake of sidelining her with her "death". I found Alicia to be pretty endearing as well, Kimi himself was alright, but his interactions with Siesta and Alicia were really good. I found the other characters like Saikawa, Char, and Fuubi kind of bland. Nagisa was actually pretty bad, especially since they replaced Siesta with her.

There wasn't really anything compelling nor that unique with Nagisa, they could have done something where she was an amnesic Hel trying to redeem herself (sort of like Alicia's plot) which could have been interesting, but instead they went with the replacing Siesta plot. I mean they could have even shuffled the character plots around where Nagisa was a Hel trying redeem herself in one body, then in a separate body Alicia and Siesta resides together alternating who was in control. It would have been interesting to see Nagisa struggling with reverting to Hel, or Hel struggling to be good; and Siesta being an ace detective but is sidelined sometimes into being Alicia who's trying to learn to be an ace detective, with Kimi splitting his affection towards both and struggling who he likes better like how he had to choose who to side with during the Alicia reveal arc.

Anyways, this story could have been so much better, but it just became an uninteresting mess with the direction it went in. The anime looks to supposedly have a S2 coming, but I'm not that confident S2 would be that great, nor could fix any of this.
